Photos have finally come available online of Leevi's British National Champions of 2003, Warren & Kristi Boyce, who successfully defended their title at the Wintergardens in Blackpool. 26.12.03. On 31st December Leevi shall hold its traditional New Year's Eve Party at Nice n Easy Dance Studios in Bournemouth with some super ballroom and latin demonstrations by young Estonian Leevi couples... 26.12.03. (Coming 01.01.04): Leevi's next training camps will be held at the Spa-Hotel Lõokese in Hiiumaa. The squad of amateur, youth and junior couples is planned for 03.01.-09.01. E-D groups 03.01.-07.01. 18.12.03. (Coming 20.12.03): The Danceclub Xmas party will take place on 20th December and is open to all dancers, children and parents. Santa will be there, and his heavy sack of presents. The party begins at 16.00. 15.12.03. Leevi Estonian Ranking Winners of 2003. 14.12.03. This weekend in Rapla at the final Estonian Ranking event of 2003, organisers Mr. & Mrs. A. Liiv pulled off a spectacular coup in securing the very top judges to adjudicate their special Christmas competition. Most noteable were of course World Latin specialist coach Mr. Jerry Abrate (Italy) and former World Professional Standard Champion Mrs. Caterina Arzenton (Italy). Leevi's Roland Rannala & Karina Vesman were the best couple over all 10 dances in the Youth section, and also won Slow Foxtrot over Mehine-Fessai and Jive in the latin competition from Prigorovski-Berlin. Congratulations. Leevi's Alari Liiv & Veronika Korõtnikova were Jun II ST winners again and Leevi had in total 16 couples reaching finals in the open class competitions as shown on the reults pages below. 14.12.03. Danceclub Leevi is proud to announce that as of today's IDSF World Standard Ranking List, three Leevi couples are featuring in the top 100 pairs. Hopefully our other dedicated, developing youngsters will soon join Warren & Kristi, Kristjan & Anri and Aleksander & Katrin in the near future! 08.12.03. 'Magus Algus' - Juvenile & Junior Festival for new kids took place on 06.12.03. See the results from the competition and the original qualifing events too. Including Leevi's Juvenile II (6-dance)(Born 1992,1993) winners: Mati Brus & Reelika Mets, who took the gold medal! 07.12.03: Leevi's Aleksander Makarov & Katrin End made the IDSF Youth Open ST final in Örebro, Sweden taking the silver medal! Sander Ots & Inna Prigorovskaja competed in the same event, finishing 9th. In the Junior II ST event, Leevi's Marten Sark & Eiri Selberg took fourth position, which was a very satisfying result for their first main overseas trip. Congratulations! 06.12.03: Leevi's Kristjan Kuusk & Anri Kokkonen made the IDSF Int Open ST final in Örebro, Sweden finishing in 6th place. Closely behind were also Leevi's Aleksander Makarov & Katrin End (8th) who would also be competing in the Youth competition tomorrow. Sander Ots & Inna Prigorovskaja made the semi final of the Youth Latin and Marten Sark & Eiri Selberg made the semi final of the Junior II Latin. Well done to you all. Results from day II will shortly be available. 03.12.03: Warren & Kristi Boyce took silver in this year's Chinese Open Amateur Standard Championship held in Shenzhen, mainland China. Current World Champs Gozzoli-Betti announced they would be competing in professional from January as they took home the gold medal. Leevi's Warren & Kristi unintentionally stole the soon-to-be-pros thunder when the compere announced that it was also Warren's birthday! Then the excitable Chinese audience that filled the stadium delivered more than several choruses of Happy Birthday! After the competition the birthday cake that the hotel sponsors had specially made went down extremely well according to all reports. 01.12.03: The IDSF International Open ST was held in Tallinn, Estonia with many countries attending this year's event. Leevi's Aleksander Makarov & Katrin End flew the club flag, finishing as the highest placed Estonians in the event in 8th position and boosting their IDSF ranking score by a further 90 points. Leevi's Kristjan Kuusk & Anri Kokkonen finished 13th and Roland & Karina were in the top 24 of this competition and the final of the u19 youth. Alari & Veronika were also Leevi finalists in the Junior II ST Open Championship. Congratulations! All other Leevi results available here. 23.11.03: The British National Amateur Standard Championships were held this weekend in Blackpool. For the second year running, Warren & Kristi Boyce won the event (1.1.1.1.1.), repeating the success of the first ever winners, Mr. & Mrs. G. Boyce who won 1975-6. Previous winners. Other British Leevi couples were also very successful in these championships with a summary available here. 20.11.03: Photos from the IDSF 2003 World ST Championship in Austria. 17.11.03: New article - World Championship 2003. 16.11.03: Leevi & Estonian results from the Austrian Open 2003. 16.11.03: Leevi's english pair Callum Powell & Kristen Pulsakowska reached the semi-final of this year's Dutch Open. Assen 2003 Results. 16.11.03: Leevi's Roland Rannala & Karina Vesman competed in the Austrian Open IDSF Youth Championship on the last day of the festival. From an initial entry of 64 couples, they were able to finish in the top six couples (6.4.5.6.6.). Congratulations. Semi finalists were Migunov-Galagan 8th, Nittmae-Tanav 9th. In the Junior II Standard Leevi's Alari Liiv & Veronika Korotnikova finished in 10th position from an entry of 56 couples and were the top Estonians. 15.11.03: Leevi's top standard couple made the final of the IDSF World Standard Championship for the second year running. This achievement speaks for itself, but special thanks and appreciation must go to the huge 'British flag waving' Estonian support that was present in the Wiener Stadthalle. Despite these Youth and Juvenile competitors having a free day from competitions on this day of the festival, they chose to make the cramped bus journey from their base in Bratislava to attend this spectacle in Vienna. This thanks cannot be limited to those from Danceclub Leevi, as all of the young Estonian dancers, their parents and coaches were an inspiration. See the world championship results here...  14.11.03: Today's IDSF International Open Standard saw Leevi's Youth paring of Roland & Karina finish ahead of all the other competing Estonian couples in the Standard event. The Estonians placings can be seen here but in truth all of the couples mentioned could arguably have finished higher or lower such was the similarity in standard between them, but the extra points that they all gained should boost their IDSF ranking for December. 09.11.03: New article - US Open IDSF 2003. 08.11.03: 'World ST Poll' - Result is here & the Austrian Open takes place in Vienna from 13.-16. November... 02.11.03: Tartu results summary. 02.11.03: Estonian ranking event in Tartu, Southern Estonia - Free Class Junior II St winners were Leevi's Alari Liiv & Veronika Korotnikova, who also finished fifth in the latin section. Marten Sark & Eiri Selberg were 9th. In the Youth St ranking event Leevi's Roland Rannala & Karina Vesman finished 2nd and also came 5th in latin. Leevi's Indrek Arandi & Elsi Leist were fifth in Youth St, Marko Kiigajaan & Mari Piksar were 9th in the same event and also 6th place in latin. In the D-class events Leevi's Martin Küüsmaa & Maarja Kohtla were double winners taking first place in both the standard and latin youth events. In the Junior II Latin, winners were Leevi's Kaspar Sallo & Anna Milvek, third went to Raiko Väljamäe & Stella Selberg and fifth place went to Alo Puusepp & Janne Ots. Congratulations again to all Leevi dancers, finalists and winners! 02.11.03: Last night Warren & Kristi Boyce were pronounced winners of the Best Amateur Standard Couple 2003 at Le Classique de Danse Awards held at the Floral Hall, Southport. Congratulations. 30.10.03: New Junior report from the US Open. 27.10.03: Youth Latin Ranking Chepstow: Ryan Wilson - Olesja Kosik, V Place. 26.10.03: International 2003 - View the photos now in our club gallery. 25.10.03: Leevi's Roland Rannala & Karina Vesman competed today in the Baltic Cup Open Youth Championship in Elblag, Poland. 11 adjudicators from 7 countries decided the result from 40 couples of 6 nationalities. Having made the final of last weeks Finland Open Youth Championship, Roland & Karina went even better taking the silver medal. Congratulations to one Leevi & Estonia's brightest prospects, as they are only first year competitors in Youth class as will have two attempts at the World Championship title in 2004 and 2005! Full results and marks can be seen here. 25.10.03: IDSF Points awarded to Leevi couples from Lahti, Finland 2003. 20.10.03: IDSF Champions Lahti 2003! 19.10.03: "Finland Open", Lahti 2003: Danceclub Leevi dominated this year's championships with couples reaching the finals in Jun I ST, Jun II ST, JII LA, Youth ST & IDSF Int Open ST, over the two days of competitions. Leevi's World Championship finalists & British National Champions, Warren & Kristi Boyce, won all dances to become the IDSF International Open Champions, before rounding off the competition with their honour dance, Waltz. Storming into the IDSF final were Leevi's Aleksandr Makarov & Katrin End, who had made the International U21 final just two weeks ago, and now placed fourth ahead of the current Estonian Amateur Champions Ratas-Liiv, who finished sixth. Congratulations! Leevi's Kristjan Kuusk & Anri Kokkonen were also the next couple into the final (8th =) and Roland Rannala & Karina Vesman were 16th, defeating all the other Estonian youth couples who were competing. 85 couples entered this event - Results. In the Youth ST event Leevi had two finalists and Indrek Arandi & Elsi Leist were 24th from an entry of 105 couples. Sander Ots & Inna Prigorovski made the same round. In the Youth Latin Sander & Inna placed 39th from over 100 couples. The Junior II ST saw Leevi's Alari Liiv & Veronika Korotnikova reached the final finishing 3rd. Andres End & Liis End were also 7th in the same event. with Marten Sark & Eiri Selberg 14th & Andres Liiv & Teele Kruuse 27th. Despite five Russian couples being in the final of the Junior II LA, there was still place for Leevi's Andrei Vavilov & Valeria Milova who came fifth. In the Junior I ST, Leevi's Madis Hakmann & Maris Perendi finished 5th and were 30th in the latin section. View a summary of all Leevi's results here... Congratulations again to our winners and our many finalists!!!! 16.10.03: International 2003 - Dance News Article. 14.10.03: New article. 13.10.03: International 2003: Leevi results and pictures. 11.10.03: Supadance Belgian Open & IDSF Int. Open ST Liege, Belgium: Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce finished in fourth position in an extremely strong IDSF final and were placed third in two dances. Despite three Italian couples reaching this final, the adjudicator representing Italy placed Kristi & Warren 2nd overall. Winners were Soale-Cerasoli & Runners-up Eriksen-Eihilt. Aleksandr Makarov & Katrin End competed in the same event finishing 20th out an entry of 79 couples. In the Belgian Open Junior II standard two Leevi couples, Alari Liiv & Veronika Korotnikova and Andres End & Liis End, both reached the final with Alari & Veronika taking the bronze medal. 10.10.03: Eve End was clearly the proudest mother at this year's International Championships as Andres, Liis, Kati & Kristi all reached grand finals. What was strange however was that all of them achieved the same results finishing in fifth positions!!! View a summary of all the Leevi results here. There is no doubt we are Estonia's INTERNATIONAL dancesport club!  09.10.03: International Championships Albert Hall, London: From an intial entry of couples from countries, Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce reached the grand final of the International Amateur Standard Championship improving on both performance and result from the previous year. Kristi & Warren received fifth placing overall but it will be interesting to take a closer look at the marks when they become available due to the strength of the challenge they put up tonight. Observing the marks from the Imperial, shown below, Warren & Kristi gained four first placings in a single dance, the Slow Foxtrot, less than a week earlier. 08.10.03: International Championships Brentwood, London: Danceclub Leevi dominated all sections of today's events with couples reaching the finals in Under 14 standard, Junior standard and Under 21 standard. Andres End & Liis End made the grand final of the Under 14s for a second time finishing fifth. In the Junior standard event, they reached the best 24 couples along with Leevi's english pairing of Callum Powell & Kristen Pulsakowska. The third Leevi couple in the 24 round, Alari Liiv & Veronika Korotnikova, went on the make the grand final of seven couples, defeating the top english pair to take sixth spot. But the most fantastic result of the day went the way of Leevi's Aleksandr Makarov & Katrin End, whom despite both being just 18 and dancing together for only three months, stormed into the International Under 21 standard final. Out of an entry of couples from countries, Sasa & Kati finished fifth. Roger & Kerttu were the only other Estonians competing in this category and they achieved the same result as at Blackpool in May where they, and Roman & Elena reached the 48 of the Under 21 event. 07.10.03: International Championships Brentwood, London: Leevi's Andres End & Liis End reached the grand final of the Under 14 Latin Championship finishing sixth. This was a fantastic transition from Juvenile, where Liis had finished fourth only last year. Good luck! 04.10.03: London Championships 2003: Leevi's Callum Powell & Kristen Pulsakowska reached the top 12 of the Junior Standard. In the Junior Latin they reached the top 24. Well done! 01.10.03: Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce represented the World Amateur Allstars as four of the top couples in either style demonstrated shows for the highly knowledgeable audience of professionals at Dance Options Cheam. On top of this great honour, Warren & Kristi have also been nominated for the 'Le Classique de Danse Awards' to be held in November. We wish them good luck in their selected category 'Best Amateur Standard Couple 2003'. 29.09.03:  Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce won the Midland Amateur Standard Championship & EADA National Selection event tonight by being first in all dances. Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik kept up their good form by reaching the semi-final, for the second time of a ranking event. Well done!27.09.03: IDSF Points from the IDSF Open ST in St. Petersburg. 21.09.03: Leevi's Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik won the Amateur Standard event today at Leatherhead, winning all dances and receiving a full set of 1st placings in Slow Foxtrot. Well done!20.09.03: Congratulations to Leevi's Roland Rannala & Karina Vesman who reached the semi-final of the IDSF Open Standard Championship in St. Petersburg, Russia. This was an extremely prestigious event running alongside the World Latin Championship with Russia's top two amateur couples competing. The russian standard champions finished 1st and the World 10 Dance Champions were second. At such a young age Roland & Karina certainly outdid themselves defeating all other Estonian couples and a bright future looks set for them. Well done! Read more on the St. Petersburg website. Quality pictures can be downloaded using this link...  14.09.03: Leevi's finnish representatives Kristjan Kuusk & Anri Kokkonen competed in their first national Amateur ranking event this weekend. Kristjan & Anri won the foxtrot from Finnish champs Jauhiainen-Kortelainen and came third overall. English judge Robert Bellinger had this Leevi couple as his winner on the day! Congratulations. Check out the result... 14.09.03: EVTL D-Class ranking Paide: Congratulations to all our Leevi finalists today: Lars Trunin & Grete Raidma (Jun II ST), Kaspar Sallo & Anna Milvek (Jun II LA), Raiko Väljamäe & Stella Selberg (Jun I LA). 14.09.03: Leevi's couples took a clean sweep of the Hampshire Championships today by winning the Amateur Standard, Under 21 Standard and Senior Standard Championships. Leevi's Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik were winners of the Under 21 with Leevi's Stewart Mills & Alex Hixson making it a one-two for the club! In the Basic Foxtrot event Leevi's Seniors Masahito Amano & Yoko Amano were easy winners but it was a great accomplishment for them both in the Senior Standard Championship to take the first place. In the Amateur Championships, Leevi's top couple Warren & Kristi Boyce won by taking every first place. Continuing their success from the Youth event Ryan & Olesja did superbly to beat couples from Italy and England and take the runners-up spot. Stewart and Alex finished fifth and pictures from the events can be seen here... 13.09.03: EVTL Ranking Event Paide, Estonia. Despite some bad organisation at today's competition, Leevi's couples in general put on a great show today and ground out some good results. Clearly winning Waltz & V. Waltz Sasa Makarov & Katrin End also gained 1st placings in the remaining dances to dominate the Youth Standard final. Mrs. Karita Yli-Pipari, being the only real standard judge on the panel had no hesitation to give them 1st in every dance. Reaching the same final were Leevi's Roland Rannala & Karina Vesman who took fourth position in several dances in their very first competition together. This was indeed a tough final to make and there was a tie for seventh between Marko Kiigajaan & Mari Piksar and Indrek Arandi & Elsi Leist. This was also a great result for Indrek & Elsi who were also competing in their first event together!!! Well done! Today's Junior II Standard event was won by Leevi's highly successful Alari Liiv & Veronika Korotnikova who dominated this final. Two more Leevi couples Andres End & Liis End and Marten Sark & Eiri Selberg finished in the top 12 and Andres Liiv & Teele Kruuse were unluckily 13th. Leevi's Madis Hakmann & Maris Perendi were finalists of the Junior I event in standard finishing 4th. In the Youth Latin Marko & Mari finished fourth and Sander & Inna were 6th. Alari & Veronika also made the Junior II Latin final completing a successful day. 11.09.03:  View the photos from the Leevi trip to the USA & Disneyworld 1 2 310.09.03: US Open Miami USA >> Last week saw the US Open Tennis run at the same time as the US Open DanceSport, two huge events with the latter being equally important to the danceworld as the former to the world of tennis. In the Amateur Standard Championship, all the world's top IDSF couples competed, making for an event set to be as tough as the UK Open or International. Not reaching the final were two finalists from last months GOC, World 10 Dance Champions Gimaev-Bassouk and also nine times US Amateur Champion Victor Fung on home soil. The finalists are announced; the Karabeys present a Quickstep before Soale-Cerasoli set the crowd on fire with their turn. Their Quickstep went on to win even over the World Champs Gozzoli-Betti. Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce took to the floor performing a totally basic Quicktep with only D-class choreography sending the crowd wild through class and style. Bizokas & Eriksen both followed with their versions but the American crowd had already done most of their cheering. The final result unfolded as follows... In the US Open Junior Latin event, Leevi's Alari Liiv & Veronika Korotnikova reached 25th position in an extremely strong event. In the standard, however, Alari & Veronika made the final and won Waltz & Foxtrot. Finns Hirvonen-Hirvonen won the remaining dances and due to a single mark Leevi's representatives were awarded the silver medal. The Finnish couple were a year older so this means that Alari & Veronika will dance next year against couples of their own age. Well done and good luck! Stewart & Alex finished 4th in Youth & 5th in the Amateur and Paul & Lisa won the Open Foxtrot and were 4th in the Amateur. Congratulations. Lisa was a former British Junior Latin Champion when she danced with Warren but has now gone on to far greater success most notably at this year's British Open Amateur Latin event where they became the top English couple in the semifinal finishing in 8th position! Well done to all the Leevi champions!13.07.03: Warren & Kristi Boyce retained their title of United Kingdom Closed Amateur Standard Champions today sealing their victory with a maximum of 55/55 first placings. Ryan & Olesja finished amongst the top 12 amateurs and Stewart & Alex amongst the top 24! In the Senior-Pre Standard event Malcolm & Debbie Hardy won in fine style. In a similar situation to Masa & Yoko, they went from not being recalled last year to now breaking the final and emerging as winners. Masa & Yoko themselves repeated their success of Friday night by again reaching the Senior Championship final. In the Bournemouth Masters Gala 12/13 year's competition Andres & Liis End won both the Standard event & the Latin event by winning all dances! Congratulations!12.07.03: Bournemouth Festival: Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik finished 9th in the UK Closed Under 21 Latin Championship held today. 12.07.03: Alari & Veronika and Andres & Liis gave an excellent show this evening at the Piccadilly Hotel in Bournemouth. Photos can be viewed here. 11.07.03: Defeating all of England's top Juniors and entries from Europe, Leevi's Alari Liiv & Veronika Korotnikova won all dances to win the prestigious Bournemouth Masters Gala Junior Ballroom Championship. In their second competition together Andres & Liis End were the next couple into this presigious final defeating all other European competitors and England's World Championship Junior II representatives. The Bournemouth Masters Latin saw Alari & Veronika finish 4th and Andres & Liis 8th. In the Bournemouth Masters U21 Standard Leevi couples Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik finished 6th and Stewart Mills & Alex Hixson were 9th. In the Senior Modern Championship Leevi's top Japanese couple finished in 4th place. It was a superb result for Masahito & Yoko Amano who went from not receiving a recall in last year's competition to winning Champions of Tomorrow and now breaking the Senior final! Valmis on nüüd Leevi Rapla KV etapi LA tulemused - (E-D klassid). 15.12.03. Leevi 2003.a. KARIKAVÕITJAD. 14.12.03. Sellel nädalavahetusel korraldas perekond Liiv Eesti Karika 2003 lõppvõistluse. Suurepärasele turniirile aitasid kaasa Maailma Ladina spetsialist Jerry Arabate ja Proffide Maailmameister standardtantsudes Catarina Arzenton Itaaliast. 10 - tantsu kokkuvõttes olid Leevi noorteklassi paar Roland Rannala ja Karina Vesman esimesed sellel võistlusel võites aeglases fokstrotis Mehist - Fessaid ja jives Prigarovskit - Berlini. Palju õnne!!! Leevi Alari Liiv ja Veronika Korõtnikova võitsid järjekordselt konkurenditult Juunior II standardi. Kokkuvõttes jõudis vabaklassi karikal erinevatesse finaalidesse 16 Leevi paari. Tantsuklubi Leevi on väga õnnelik ja uhke, et kolm Leevi tantsupaari on jõudnud Maailma jooksvas edetabelis 100 parima paari hulka. Loodetavasti ka kõik meie teised lootust andvad noored tantsupaarid jõuavad peatselt 100 parima hulka, kus ootavad neid ees juba Warren & Kristi, Kristjan & Anri ja Aleksandr & Kati. 08.12.03. Tantsuvõistlus "Magus Algus" on mõeldud algajatele lastele. Selle aasta finaalturniir toimus laupäeval 6. detsembril. Leevi Mati Brus ja Reelika Mets võitsid laste 6-tantsu voistluse. Kõikide võistluste tulemusi saate näha siin. 07.12.03. Leevi Aleksandr Makarov ja Katrin End tõid koju hõbemedalid IDSF Noorte Standardtantsude võistluselt Örebrost. Samal võistlusel saavutasid Sander Ots ja Inna Prigorovskaja 9nda koha. Juunior II standardis saavutasid eriti tubli neljanda koha Marten Sark ja Eiri Selberg. Palju õnne!!! 06.12.03. Leevi Kristjan Kuusk ja Anri Kokkonen jõudsid finaali IDSF Internationalil Rootsis, Örebros ja saavutasid kuuenda koha. Meie teine paar, Aleksandr Makarov ja Katrin End, saavtasid 8nda koha. Noorte ladinas jõudsid Sander Ots ja Inna Prigarovskaja poolfinaali. Marten Sark ja Eiri Selberg jõudsid poolfinaali Juunior II ladinas. 03.12.03. Täna, Warreni sünnipäeval, võistlesid Warren ja Kristi Boyce Shenzhen International Openil Hiinas. Esimest korda võistlustantsu ajaloos korraldati rahvusvaheline turniir Hiinas, mis oli väga edukas. Võistlema oli kutsutud tipud proffide ja amatöride klassis, kohtunike tööd tegid vaid endised maailmameistrid. Standardtanstudes tulid esimeseks maailmameistrid Gozzoli-Betti, kes kuulutasid, et Jaanuari kuu UK Openil tantsivad nad juba proffides. Teised olid Warren & Kristi ja kolmandad Short-Balabyeva. 01.12.03. Tallinn International Open Cup 2003 36 osavõtnud paari hulgas saavutasid Aleksandr Makarov ja Katrin End 8nda koha. Kristjan Kuusk & Anri Kokkonen saavutasid 13. koha ja Roland Rannala & Karina Vesman jõudsid 24 parima paari hulka. Palju õnne!!! Teiste vanuseklasside tulemused: kliki siia. 23.11.03: Warren ja Kristi soovivad kõigile Leevi paaridele edu Tallina Openil! Kahjuks ei saa me sellelt võistluselt tänavu osa võtta. Nimelt on meid kutsutud samal ajal võistlema Hiina, Shenzhen'i linna ja nädal enne võistlust anname me tundi Hong Kong'i suurimas tantsustuudios. Tagasi Eestisse jõuame me 8.ndal detsembril. 23.11.03: Sellel nädalvahetusel, Blackpool Winter Garden, toimusid Briti Meistrivõistlused kõikide vanuserühmadele nii standardis kui ladinas. Samal võistlusel jõudsid poolfinaali Migunov/Galagan 8ndad ja Niitmäe/Tänav 9ndad. Juunioride vanuseklassis jõudsid ainukeste eestlastena poolfinaali Leevi 'Super Staarid' Alari Liiv ja Veronika Korõtnikova. Nad saavutasid 10nda koha 56 osavõtnud paari hulgast. 15.11.03: Leevi täiskasvanute paar Warren ja Kristi Boyce saavutasid kuuenda koha eile Viinis toimunud IDSF Maailmameistrivõistlustel standardtantsudes. Võistles 71 paari 35 erinevast riigist. Maailmameistriteks tulid teist aastat järjest Gozzoli-Betti. Eestist esindasid tartlased Martin Parmas & Kaisa Oja saavutades 36. koha ja Veiko Ratas & Helena Liiv 39. koha. Austriat esindas eesti tantsija Siret Siilak, kes saavuta 17. koha. Sellest võistlusest võttis osa 40 paari 6 erimaalt ja hindas 11 kohtunikku 7 erirahvusest. Olles jõudnud finaali eelmisel nädalal Soome Openil tõid nad Poolast koju hõbemedalid. Palju õnne Leevi ja Eesti kõige lootustandvamatele tõusvatele tähtedele, kuna see on ju alles selle noore paari esimene aasta Noorte vanuseklassis. Neil on ees veel kaks võimalust tuua koju maailmameistritiitel 2004 ja 2005.Võistluse tulemused ja voorude hindeid saab näha siit. 25.10.03: Leevi paaride punktid maailmakarika jooksvasse edetabelisse. 20.10.03: Lahti meistrid 2003! 19.10.03: 'Finland Open 2003', Lahti. Tantsuklubi Leevi paarid domineerisid selle aasta võistlust, jõudes finaali nii Jun I ST, Jun II ST, Jun II LA, Noorte ST ja Täiskasvanute standardis. Leevi maailmameistrivõistluste finalistid ja Briti meistrid, Warren ja Kristi Boyce, võitsid kõik tantsud, tulles IDSF International Open meistriteks. Alles kaks nädalat tagasi toimunud London International tantsuvõistluste alla 21 aastaste finalistid, Aleksandr Makarov ja Katrin End, võitlesid endale koha samas finaalis. Nad saavutasid neljanda koha, võites praegusi Eesti Täiskasvanute klassi meistreid Ratas - Liivi, kes lõpetasid kuuendana. Palju õnne!!! Leevi Kristjan Kuusk & Anri Kokkonen jäid kahjuks esimestena finaalist välja, olles kaheksandad. Roland Rannala ja Karina Vesman saavutasid 16-nda koha võites kõiki teisi Eesti noorte klassi paare. Sellele võistlusele oli registreerunud 85 paari - tulemused Noorte standardis oli Leevil kaks finalisti, Indrek Arandi ja Elsi Leist jõudsid 24 parima paari hulka üle saja osavõtnud paari hulgast. Sander Ots ja Inna Progorovski lõpetasid samas voorus, ladinas olid nad 39ndad. Samuti London International tantsuvõistluse finalistid Alari Liiv ja Veronika Korõtnikova jõudsid finaali Juunior II ST, saavutades III koha. Samal võistlusel jäid esimesena finaalist välja Andres ja Liis End, Marten Sark ja Eiri Salberg olid 11ndad ja Andres ja Teele olid 27ndad. Sama vanuseklassi Ladina finaalis tantsisid viis paari Venemaalt ja meie Andrei Vavilov ja Valeria Milova. Olenemata sellest, et finaalis oli kolm Itaalia tantsupaari hindas Itaalia kohtunik meie Kristit ja Warrenit teise koha vääriliselt. Võitjad olid Soale & Cerasoli ning teised Eriksen & Eihilt. Aleksandr Makarov & Katrin End võistlesid samal võistlusel saavutades 20. koha, 79 osavõtnud paari hulgast. Belgia Juunioride Openilt võttis osa kaks Leevi tantsupaari: Alari Liiv & Veronika Korõtnikova ning Andres & Liis End, mõlemad lõpetasid finaalis, kus Alari & Veronika tõid endaga Eestisse kaasa pronks medali. 10.10.03: Eve End on kõige õnnelikum ja uhkem ema selle aasta Internationalil, kus Andres, Liis, Kati ja Kristi kõik jõudsid finaali. Huvitav on see, et nad lõpetasid kõik ühteviisi viiendal kohal. Selles ei ole midagi imelikku, sest meie oleme Eesti Rahvusvaheline Tantsuspordi klubi. 09.10.03: International Championships Royal Albert Hall London: Leevi esitantsupaar Warren & Kristi Boyce jõudsid täiskasvanutes finaali, parandades, nii oma tantsu esitust, kui ka kohta, võrreldes eelmise aastaga. 08.10.03: International Championships Brentwood London: Tantsuklubi Leevi domineeris kõikides eri vanuseklassides, saades finaali nii alla 14 aastaste standardis, juunioride standardis kui ka alla 21 aastaste standardis. Andres & Liis End said alla 14 aastaste standardis finaali, lõpetades viiendal kohal. Juunioride vanuseklassis said nad koos inglise Leevi tantsupaari Callum Powelli & Kristen Pulsakowskajaga 24 parima paari hulka. Andres Liiv ja Teele Kruuse jõudsid 48 parima paari hulka. Neljas Leevi paar Alari Liiv & Veronika Korõtnikova said samas vanuseklassis finaali, saavutades kuuenda koha. Aga kõige silmapaistvama tulemuseni jõudsid Leevi tantsupaar Aleksandr Makarov & Katrin End, kes on mõlemad ainult 18 aastat vanad ning koos tantsinud kõigest kolm kuud, saavutades alla 21 aastaste standardis viienda koha. Roger Niitmae & Kerttu Tänav olid ainukesed eestlased, kes veel võistlesid selles kategoorias, saavutades sama tulemuse võrreldes moodunud aasta Blackpooliga, kus nad koos Roman Migunovi & Elena Galaganiga jõudsid 48 parima paari hulka. Rogeri ja Kertuga samasse vooru jõudsid ka Olesja Kosik ja Ryan Wilson. 07.10.03: International Championships Brentwood London: Andres ja Liis End tantsuklubist Leevi said alla 14 aastastes ladinas finaali, lõpetades kuuendal kohal. See oli fantastiline tulemus, kuna alles eelmine aasta võistles Liis laste klassis, saavutades neljanda koha. Hampshire Championshipil võitsid meie paarid kõikides vanuseklassides: alla 21 aastaste ST, täiskasvanud ja seeniorid. Noortes võidutsesid Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik ja teised olid Stewart Mills & Alex Hixson. Basic foxtroti ja Open Seenioride võitsid Masahito Amano & Yoko Amano. Täiskasvanute ST, saades vaid esikohti, tulid esimeseks Warren & Kristi Boyce ja suure üllatusena saavutasid meie noorte meistrid teise koha võites paare itaaliast ja saksamaalt. Pilte võistlustelt saate näha siit... 13.09.03: EVTL Karikas, Paide. Enamus Leevi paare võistlesid esimest korda uute partneritega, seega olid mõningad tulemused vägagi ettearvamatud. Oli see ju suur ja väga vastutusrikas ülesanne kohtunikele, kes nägid neid paare esimest korda. Loodame, et esimesed võistlused piiritaga, kõrgema kvaliteediga, omakasupüüdmatute kohtunikega panevad meie paaride paremusjärjekorra paika. Edasiminek suve laagrites olid näha ja meie paarid andsid endast tantsupõrandal parima. Noorte ST jõudis meie klubist finaali kaks paari: Alexander Makarov ja Katrin End võitsid AV ja W. Mitmes tantsus lõpetasid neljandana Roland Rannala ja Karina Vesman. Napilt jäid sellest finaalist välja jagades 7-8 kohta Marko Kiigajaan & Mari Piksar ja Indrek Arandi & Elsi Leist. Juunior II ST võitsid ülekaalukalt Alari Liiv & Veronika Korõtnikova. Kaks meie paari jai kahjuks finaalist välja poolfinaali Andres & Liis End ja Marten Sark & Eiri Selberg. Ja õnnetud 13ndad olid Andres Liiv & Teele Kruuse. Juunior I ST tulid neljandaks Maris Perendi ja Madis Hakmann. Ka Noorte ladinas oli meie klubist finaalis kaks paari. Neljandad Marko & Mari ja kuuendad Sander & Inna. Juunior II LA jõudsid finaal Alari ja Veronika. 11.09.03: Uued pildid Ameerikast ja Disneyworldist 1 2 3 10.09.03: Eelmisel nädalal toimus nii US Open Tennis kui ka US Open DanceSport. US Open võistlustantsus on täpselt sama tähtis tantsueliidile kui US Open Tennis tennise-maailmas. Täiskasvanute Sandardtantsude võistlusel osalesid kõik maailmas hetkel tipus olevad paarid, mis tegi sellest võistlusest sama tugeva turniiri nagu Blackpool, International ja UK Open. Poolfinaali jõudsid kaks Mannheimi finalisti, Maailmameistrid 10-tantsus ja 9 kordsed US-meistrid. Finalistid kutsuti põrandale: Karabey tantsis tutvustuseks Quickstepi enne Soale-Cerasolit, kes võitsid selle tantsu maailmameistrite Gozzoli-Betti ees. Järgmisena tulid põrandale Leevi W&K Boyce, kes tantsisid Quickstepi vaid basicut - D-klassi järjekorda, millest publik sattus vaimustusse aplodeerides sama kõvasti kui esikoha omanikele. Viimase kahe tantsu ajaks oli publik maha rahunenud ja nad vaatasid rahulikult Bizokas'e ja Eriksen'i tutvustustantsu. !!!!! Tulemused !!!!! US Open Juunior Ladinas jõudsid Leevi Alari Liiv ja Veronika Korõtnikova veerandfinaali (24 parema paari hulka). Standardtantsudes jõudsid nad finaali võittes Aeglasevalsi, Foxtroti - olles teised ülejäänud kolmes tantsus. Võitsid soomlased õde-vend team Hirvonen-Hirvonen. !!!!! Juunioride ST tulemused !!!!! Kolmas suur saavutus, kordaminek meie reisil oli kindlast Glenni teine sünnipäev. Olge kõik sama tublid ja andekad ka koolis... 31.08.03: Sten Võrk, mitmekordne Eesti Meistrivõistluste medaliomanik, Blackpooli tantsufestivali poolfinalist ja International Championship'il hõbemedali saanu on leidnud endale uue ilusa ja väga andeka partneri. Eva-Maria Leetma on C-klassi tantsija P&A tantsukoolist. Me soovime neile edu ja loodame, et nad toovad meie klubile palju meistritiitleid nii kodus kui ka mujal maailmas. 30.08.03: Kõikidel huvilistel on võimalus osaleda tehnika grupitundides ja võtta Oleksii Ivanets'i ja Lisa Bellinger Ivanets'i ladina-eratunde 22,23 ja 24 septembril. Lisa oli Inglismaal LA-meister koos Warreniga juunioride vanuseklassis. 17aastaselt võitis ta Blackpooli alla 21 aastaste turniiri ja selle aasta mais jõudis Lisa koos oma värske abikaasaga Blackpooli Festivalil täiskasvanute klassis poolfinaali, saavutades kõrge 8. koha, olles esimesed inglismaa tantsupaaridest. Täna, United Kingtom kinniste standardtantsudes meistrivõistluste täiskasvanute klassis võitsid teist aastat järjest meistritiitli Warren & Kristi Boyce, saades 55 esikohta 55 võimalikust. Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik jõudsid poolfinaali ja Stewart Mills & Alex Hixson olid 24 parima paari hulgas. Seenioride Pre-meistrivõistlustel tulid meistriteks Malcolm & Debbie Hardy. Täpselt nagu Masa ja Yoko ei saanud ka nemad eelmisel aastal samas klassis võisteldes edasi esmesest voorust. Kujutage ette, publiku vaimustust! 12/13 aastaste võistlusel tulid esimeseks Andres ja Liis End nii standardtantsudes kui ka ladina-ameerikas, võites kõik tantsud. Palju Õnne!!!12.07.03. Bournemouth festival: Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik lõpetasid 9. kohal UK kinnistel alla 21 aastaste LA-meistrivõistlustel. 12.07.03. Alari & Veronika ja Andres & Liis tegid täna öösel fantstilise show Piccadilly hotellis Bournemouthis. Rahvas tõusis püsti neile viimast aplausi andes, kui mõlemad paarid ühest saali otsast teise jooksid. Suurepärane kogemus mlemale noorele paarile. Pildid esinemiselt. 11.07.03. Täna tantsisid kõik Inglismaa parimad juunioride paarid Bornemouthisis, Leevi Alari Liiv & Veronika Korõtnikova võitsid kõikides tantsudes ja viies koju Bournemouthi Masters Gala Juunior Standard meistrivõistluste tiitli. Oma teisel võistlusel koos Andres & Liis End jaid esimesena finaalist valja. Võittes võistlejad Norrast ja inglismaa teist JII paari, kes käis MMil Moldavias sellel aastal. Bournemouthi Masters ladina võistlusel, olid Alari Liiv & Veronika Korõtnikova neljandad ja Andres & Liis End said 8. koha. Bornemouth Masters alla 21 aastaste meistrivõistlusel standardis Leevi Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik lõpetasid kuuendana ja Stewart Mills & Alex Hixson old 9. Seenioride standardis meistrivoistlustel tulid Leevi parimad jaapanlased Masahito & Yoko Amano neljandaks. See oli supper hea tulemus, sest eelmisel aastal samal võistlusel ei saanud nad edasi isegi mitte esimest voorust! Pildid võistluselt.10.07.03. Warren ja Kristi on kirjutanud alla ka järgmise seeria (aasta 2003/2004) õppevideode lindistustele DanceSport Internationaliga. 06.07.03: Meie uus paar Andres ja Liis End tegid puhta töö täna oma esimesel võistlusel Horshamis, Inglismaal võites nii alla 14 aastaste kui ka täis Juunioride võistlusel standardtantsud ja ladina-ameerika. Tublid lapsed, tantsisite väga hästi oma esimesel võistlusel ja palju edu teile tulevikus!
