Following on from their final placing at the EADA Youth Standard at Oxford this morning, Leevi's Ben Taylor & Teele Kruuse drove to Grays in time to dance in the East of England Open Amateur competition where they finished first. Well done for all your efforts!!! 19.06.05. The EADA Youth Standard took place at Oxford today and was dominated by three Leevi couples all achieving final positions. Winning the event were Leevi's Mairold Millert & Alexandra Hixson, 4th Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik and 5th Ben Taylor & Teele Kruuse. Congratulations!!! 18.06.05. Congratulations to Dr. James Barron & Mrs. Rachel Barron who tied the knot today at their beautiful church service in Combe Down in front of family and friends. Other Leevi members couldn't help but get involved with Andres & Liis End providing the cabaret alongside the stars of the show, Mr. & Mrs. Barron! God bless James & Rachel!  11.06.05. Stars 2005 Brentwood International Center, England. Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce won the EADA Amateur Standard ranking event in fine style. Achieving an excellent ranking result of fourth position with England's very top couples all on display were Leevi's Mairold Millert & Alexandra Hixson, who deserve extra credit having danced seven rounds today. Seventh position in the EADA was taken by Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik. The Stars Under 21 Standard Championship attracted an international entry and was won by Leevi's Marko Kiigajaan & Mari Piksar from Estonia. Leevi continued to dominate the final with Mairold & Alex winning the silver medal and Ryan & Olesja took fourth. The Under 21 Stars Latin event saw Marko & Mari win the bronze medal. Stars Junior Championships saw two Leevi Estonian couples make both the ballroom and latin finals. After eight rounds of competition Andres & Liis End were 3rd in ST & 5th in LA. Andres Liiv & Viktoria Ljubimtseva were 5th in ST & 6th in LA. Stars Juvenile Beginners saw Leevi's Tom Rouse & Taela Horrigan win the Juvenile Beginner's latin and take fifth in standard. Youth U21 Ballroom 31 May 2005 2nd place - Aleksander Makarov & Katrin End 15th place - Mairold Millert & Alexandra Hixson 40th place - Marko Kiigajaan & Mari Piksar 46th place - Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik 81st place - Alari Liiv & Veronika Korotnikova 97th place - Ben Taylor & Teele Kruuse Over 290 couples registered for the U21 Ballroom British Open Championship Blackpool 2005. Above you can see Leevi couples achieved great success against the best of the rest of the World. Silver medal winners, Aleksander & Katrin, were extremely close to taking the title after winning the Waltz. The Amateur Ballroom Championships took place on 2nd June 2005 and Warren & Kristi Boyce tied third in an eight couple grand final, placing 3344. With all equal on Rule 10, Rule 11 saw Warren & Kristi holding more 1st 2nd and 3rd places than the German couple but without a majority of 23 the result was decided on fourths which saw them settle for the same postion with the same top four couples as in 2004. With Under 21 couples restricted to dancing in their own age category as shown above, Leevi's Kristjan Kuusk & Anri Kokkonen flew the Finnish Amateur flag and finished 25th from an intial entry of 240 couples! Congratulations to all Leevi couples on their continued improvement. 21.05.05. IDSF European Championship 2005. Three Leevi couples were sent by their respective national organisations to compete in St. Petersburg, Russia. Leevi's Aleksander Makarov & Katrin End (Estonia) and Kristjan Kuusk & Anri Kokkonen (Finland) tied for 21. position. Leevi's 18 & 17 year old English European Championship representatives, Mairold Millert & Alexandra Hixson, finished in a highly respectable first time position of 36 from an entry of nearly 70 couples / 35 countries. Congratulations! 21.05.05. Leevi's Andres Liiv & Viktoria Ljubimtseva won the silver at the Imperial Championships in Junior 10 Dance today in Frimley Green, England. Leevi's young youth competitors Alari Liiv & Veronika Korotnikova made the final of the Under 21 Standard Championship finishing in sixth spot after three rounds of competition. Well done! 08.05.05. The Worcestershire Trophies Day held at the St John's Sports Centre was also dominated by Leevi winners. The Amateur Standard went to Warren & Kristi Boyce and silver medal was taken by Leevi's Mairold Millert & Alexandra Hixson. The Under 21 Standard was won by Mairold & Alex and the EADA Senior National Selection event was won by Leevi's James Barron & Rachel Peacock. James and Rachel also won the Open Foxtrot event with straight first placings. Congratulations Team Leevi!08.05.05. CCADA's latest event was held today in Eastleigh where Leevi couples took top spots. Congratulations to Roger & Ann Sherfield who successfully defended their Senior trophy in the standard, with virtually all first placings. English Open Championships 2005 ~ Lakeside, Frimley Green, England: Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce won the 2005 English Open Amateur Standard Championships in fine style, clearly winning all dances. The English Open Amateur international final had six couples all representing different nationalities. The full Amateur Standard result can be viewed here. The English Open Junior Standard saw Leevi's Andres & Liis End narrowly miss out on first place, settling for second. Leevi's Andres Liiv & Viktoria Ljubmitseva took fifth in the same event. Andres & Viki were the only Leevi couple from Estonia to dance in the English Open Junior Latin and danced superbly finishing in second place. The EADA Senior Chart Ranking held in Bristol, England saw Leevi's National Champions James Barron & Rachel Peacock emerge as winners (1.1.1.1.1.) and therefore have also secured top position on the EADA Chart! Congratulations to James & Rachel, who also annexed the Open Foxtrot Amateur event! 17.04.05. Estonian Championships 2005, Tallinn. Today's Championships saw each age group have a different club winner. Senior (P&A), Juvenile (Kreedo), Junior I (Revalia), Junior II (Teemant), Youth (Stiil), but the most important title, the 2005 Amateur Standard Champions of Estonia are LEEVI's Aleksander Makarov & Katrin End (1.1.1.1.1.) who won the title for the second year running! Along with numerous finalists/medalists, Leevi has the best Estonian couple once again. Leevi Blackpool VW Junior Champions Andres & Liis End made the British Open Junior Championship final from an entry of 220 competitors. Andres & Liis placed 2nd in Foxtrot and finished overall in fourth position. Winners were the defending champion Nikita Brovko and his new partner. Also achieving a superb result was Leevi's Andres Liiv & Viktoria Ljubmitseva who made it amongst the top 13-24 couples alongside Taylor/Stone & Dennisenko/Rozova. Congratulations! Congratulations to Leevi's Andres & Liis End who won the Junior Viennese Waltz Championship at Junior Blackpool, defeating Italians and Russians into 2nd and 3rd places respectively with a performance combining beauty and power. Leevi results from Junior World Gold Cup 2005. Always used by many couples as a serious warm up for their biggest event in the world, The Junior Blackpool Dance Festival, Leevi couples took part with some fantastic results. The last two years have seen two of our couples make the Standard final - (2003 Rannala/Spiegel & Kiigajaan/Piksar, 2004 Pankov/Spiegel & Liiv/Korotnikova). This year three Leevi pairings dominated the final (2005 End/End, Liiv/Ljubmitseva, Raikkerus/Kerimhanova), and was won in fine style by Andres & Liis End (1.1.1.1.)! Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce competed for the first time for this title as previously the event had clashed with their regular March trip to Japan. Warren & Kristi won the event in fine style winning every dance. Leevi's Mairold Millert & Alexandra Hixson and Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik were both on superb form and narrowly missed out on much higher placings. Ben Taylor & Teele Kruuse were 13th in what was a superb five round competition. The South of England Open Youth Standard saw Leevi's Marko Kiigajaan & Mari Piksar win all dances to become 2005 Champions. Leevi's Ben & Teele tied for second with Borounov/Davis each winning two dances but rule 10 worked against them. In Youth Latin, Marko & Mari also won the silver medal finishing second. Completing a successful haul of South of England trophies heading to Leevi, saw Andres & Liis End win all dances with every first awarded in the open Junior Standard 3D. In good preparation for Blackpool they also won the Open Vienesse Waltz event also with maximum firsts. The Junior Latin Championship saw an international podium - 1st Australia 2nd England & 3rd Estonia - with Andres & Liis winning the bronze medal. Today's Estonian ranking event in Kohtla-Järve saw Leevi's Alari Liiv & Veronika Korotnikova win the Youth Standard event being placed first in all five dances. Junior II saw his younger brother Andres Liiv & Viktoria Ljubmitseva win the silver medal and in the latin section, the bronze. Other Leevi winners were Indrek Jakobson & Mari Tuisk, Rauno Verbitskas & Sandra Vilismae, Martin Kuusmaa & Maria Kuusmaa and Martti Kosso & Hannah Uljas. Leevi's Marko Kiigajaan & Mari Piksar were invited on an all expenses paid trip to compete in Paris, France. The event was The France 'Maisons-Laffitte' Amateur 10 Dance Invitational Championship featuring one representative from each selected country. French Amateur Champions Dereymez/Chevalier won the event for the third year running and Leevi's Marko & Mari achieved a fantastic result in winning the silver medal! Every year Danceclub Leevi sends a 10 Dance couple to 'Maisons-Laffitte' - last year Rannala-Vesman reached the semifinal. Congratulations to Marko & Mari! Lynette Boyce organised Nice 'n' Easy Dance Studios' latest Competition Day in Bournemouth today, which ran very successfully. Perhaps the most notable event of the day was the Juvenile Open Standard Trophy in which nine young couples fought for the title - more entries than in an ordinary EADA Ranking event. On December 26 a massive tsunami (tidal wave) brought devastion to coastlines stretching from Sri Lanka to Indonesia and as far west as Somalia and Kenya. An enormous amount of relief is required with upward of 125,000 dead and millions of people homeless. Help survivors and their families by making monetary donations to the DEC Tsunami Earthquake Appeal. Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce are helping raise money for this relief effort tonight in Wembley by performing their spectacular 5~dance ballroom demonstration for charity. Full details here...  28.02.05. Celtic Classic 2005 Tralee, Ireland.  28.02.05. The IDSF International Standard saw 95 couples compete with all the top couples in attendance. The event was won by current World Champions Soale/Cerasoli with Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce settling for the bronze medal. The International 8 Nations Team Match saw Warren & Kristi win for England on the Friday night, with the Danes finishing second and Italy & USA tied fourth. Team members were Boyce~Boyce, Elsbury~Allisivich, Smagin~Heron & Wright~Burke. Youth Standard saw Leevi's Aleksander Makarov & Katrin End win three dances but settle for silver. The Irish Open Junior Standard saw Leevi's Andres End & Liis End reach the final placing fifth, ahead of British Junior Champions Taylor/Stone for the first time. 14/15 years Standard saw Andres & Liis take the bronze medal and the 14/15 Latin event saw them awarded sixth spot. Winners were Mairold Millert & Alexandra Hixson, runners-up Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik and sixth were Ben Taylor & Teele Kruuse. Congratulations. 28.02.05. The EADA Senior Standard Ranking event saw Leevi's British National Champions James Barron & Rachel Peacock take maximum points by winning the competition, which was held in Romford, Essex. The Under 14s Junior Standard saw Leevi's Elliot Plate & Hannah Rawbone finish in fourth position. Well done! 19.02.05. Copenhagen IDSF Int ST saw Leevi's Kristjan Kuusk finish as the top Estonian dancer with partner Anri Kokkonen (Finland) taking 10th spot. Copenhagen Junior II Latin saw Leevi's Andres Liiv & Viktoria Ljubmitseva finish as the top Estonian couple, taking sixth spot. 17.02.05. Click the image for full details... 06.02.05. CCADA competition took place today. Results known so far: Junior 5 Dance saw Leevi couples Lee McGowan & Danielle Grover, Elliot Plate & Hannah Rawbone and Tyler & Courtney Blah finish 2nd, 3rd & 4th in the final respectively. More to follow... 31.01.05. The Allied Championships took place yesterday in Liverpool, England. Warren & Kristi have been multiple winners of this title, but this year as it coincided with the Estonian Championships, the open title would be fiercly contested. Despite taking first placings in quickstep Leevi's Mairold Millert & Alexandra Hixson had to settle for the runners up spot in the Amateur Championship to winners Elsbury/Allisivich. Bronze spot went to Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik and 6th to Ben Taylor & Teele Kruuse. The EADA Youth Ranking final however was totally dominated by Leevi couples, with the same three English-Estonian pairings all reaching the final. Winners were Mairold & Alexandra, runners-up Ryan & Olesja and fifth Ben & Teele. Leevi's Karl Drew & Joanne Barnett narrowly missed out on a final placing staying in the semi. Congratulations to all Leevi competitors! 30.01.05. Estonian 10 Dance Championships 2005 - New Leevi photos... 29.01.05. Estonian 10 Dance Championships 2005 Tallinn, Estonia. Once again Danceclub Leevi dominated the youth field including the final, in which three of our couples achieved placings. Leevi's Marko Kiigajaan & Mari Piksar had led the competition from the first round all through to the final with the most marks every time but had to settle for the silver medal as the title still managed to fall to the 2004 World Youth 10 Dance Championship runners up, Mehine/Fessai. The result of the event however, went to Leevi Andres (15) & Liis End (13) who made their first under 19 final in their first youth event, taking fifth overall. After round one the couples recalled with the most marks were Leevi's Marko & Mari (1st), Andres & Liis (2nd) with winners Mehine/Fessai (3rd)!!! Completing the final were Leevi's Sander Ots & Inna Prigorovskaja and 8th place finished Alari Liiv & Veronika Korõtnikova. Junior II 10 Dance saw Alari's younger brother Andres Liiv with Viktoria Ljubmitseva take the silver medal. Erik Rakkerus & Kamilla Kerimhanova danced in their first year of JII and at their first major competition made the semifinal. Congratulations to all Leevi couples, finalists and medalists!!! Junior II Junior I 24.01.05. Leevi Dancers @ UK Open 2005 - New Photo Compilation... Aleksander Makarov & Katrin End Warren & Kristi Boyce 24.01.05. Leevi Dancers @ Universal 2005, featuring Under 21 Finalists Millert/Hixson & Champions Makarov/End... 23.01.05. Leevi's Ben Taylor & Teele Kruuse won the Amateur Standard today at Leatherhead. EADA Senior saw Leevi's James Barron & Rachel Peacock place 1.2.1.2.2. and pick up a valuable 10 points for the ranking list. 23.01.05. Following the successful dinner and dancing of the previous evening the Albany Suite hosted Junior competitions in which Leevi had couples taking part. Winners of the Under 15s Ballroom Championship were the new Leevi pairing of Erik Rakkerrus & Kamilla Kerimhanova from Estonia in their first competition outing together. Erik & Kamilla also competed in the Open V.Waltz event again taking first place. The latin section of the Under 15s saw two Leevi couples in the medal positions with Stanislav Wakeham & Jasmine Chan taking second & Erik & Kamilla third. Congratulations! 22.01.05. Straight off the back of their UK Open success Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce competed at the Albany Suite in The City of Birmingham Open Amateur Standard Championships this Saturday night. It was a beautiful dinner dance event hosted by the '2 Richards' and Warren & Kristi won all dances taking the title. 21.01.05. Also check the Dancesport Youth Standard world rating list, where Leevi's Aleksander Makarov & Katrin End are currently ranked as the second youth pairing in the world. 20.01.05. The UK Championships 2005 - UK Open Amateur Standard Championships. Leevi's Aleksander Makarov & Katrin End reached the top 24 of this event overturning their Rising Star result as only two other Rising Star finalists made it into this year's top 24 and World Championship semifinalists Sadecki/Nawrot did not reach the round. 189 top amateur pairs had entered the event. The performance of the night was by Leevi's top couple Warren & Kristi Boyce who were rewarded with 3rd position and the total support of the knowledgable audience. Congratulations!!! Universal Championships 2005 Grays, London. From three rounds of high level competition, both Leevi couples made the final of the Universal Under 21 Standard Championships. The latest Finnish National Standard Ranking competition was held in Kouvola, Finland and won by Leevi's Kristjan Kuusk & Anri Kokkonen. 15.01.05. 2005's first EADA Amateur Standard Ranking competition was held today in Weston-Super-Mare, England. Four of Leevi's English~Estonian mixed couples competed for their ranking points including the debut appearance of new pairing Ben Taylor & Teele Kruuse. Winners in every dance were Warren & Kristi Boyce and all three Leevi Youth couples, Mairold Millert & Alexandra Hixson, Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik and Ben Taylor & Teele Kruuse finished in the best 12. The Open Foxtrot Crown of The Year Award went to Leevi's Mairold Millert & Alexandra Hixson with Ben & Teele finishing second. Ben & Teele won the Basic Foxtrot event and James Barron & Rachel Peacock, the Waltz of the Year Crown. Completing the day, James & Rachel won the Senior 4 Dance too! Congratulations!!! 14.01.05. Above you can see Leevi couples achieved great success against the best of the rest of the World. Silver medal winners, Aleksander & Katrin, were extremely close to taking the title after winning the Waltz. The Amateur Ballroom Championships took place on 2nd June 2005 and Warren & Kristi Boyce tied third in an eight couple grand final, placing 3344. With all equal on Rule 10, Rule 11 saw Warren & Kristi holding more 1st 2nd and 3rd places than the German couple but without a majority of 23 the result was decided on fourths which saw them settle for the same postion with the same top four couples as in 2004. With Under 21 couples restricted to dancing in their own age category as shown above, Leevi's Kristjan Kuusk & Anri Kokkonen flew the Finnish Amateur flag and finished 25th from an intial entry of 240 couples! Congratulations to all Leevi couples on their continued improvement. 21.05.05. IDSF European Championship 2005. Three Leevi couples were sent by their respective national organisations to compete in St. Petersburg, Russia. Eile Kohtla-Järve karikal võitsid Alari-Veronika noorte standardi, võites ülekaalukalt kõik 5 tantsu. Andres-Viki olid jun II standardis teised. Juunior II olid enamus tegijaid paare kohal, noorte klassis puudusid aga Alaril-Veronikal konkurendid. Esikoht on aga esikoht ning teile kui treeneritele meie poolt tänusõnad. Ladinas Andres-Viki kolmandad, Alari-Veronika esimesena finaalist väljas ja 7. koht. 13.03.05. Leevi Marko Kiigajaan & Mari Piksar olid kutsutud tähtsale võistlusele Pariisis Prantsusmaal. 'Maisons-Laffitte' Täiskasvanute vanuseklassi 10 - tantsu turniirile on kutsutud igalt valitud maalt üks esindaja. Eesti 2005a. 10-tantsu Meistrivõistluste pildid (Fotograaf - Ants Viira, Formicafoto)... 29.01.05. Eesti 2005a. 10-tantsu Meistrivõistlused peeti eile Tallinnas Audentese saalis. Järjekordselt domineerisid tantsuklubi Leevi tantsupaarid noorte vanuserühma finaalis. Kuuest finalistist olid kolm tantsupaari Leevi klubist ja kaks meie klubi taustaga. Leevi edukaimad, parim kümnetantsu paar Marko Kiigajaan & Mari Piksar domineerisid kogu võistlust, minnes voorust vooru esimeste kohapunktidega. Väga pingelises finaalis jäädi alla vaid 2004a. MM teisele kohale Fessai/Mehisele. Seega viidi koju hõbemedalid 2005a. Meistrivõistlustelt. Noorimad finalistid Andres ja Liis End saavutasid oma esimesel etteastel Noorte vanuseklassis viienda koha. Sander Ots & Inna Prigorovskaja saavutasid väga tubli kuuenda koha. Kahjuks ei mahtunud seekord finaali meie Alari Liiv & Veronika Korõtnikova ja Roman Pankov & Keit Spiegel. Vastavalt 8. ja 15. koht. Alari väike vend Andres Liiv koos Viktoria Ljubmitsevaga jõudis piedestalile Juunioride II vanuserühmas, kuid kahjuks tuli seekord leppida hõbemedalitega. Seenioride Karika võistlusel saavutasid Inglismaa meistrid James Barron & Rachel Peacock teise koha. 23.01.05. Täna Birminghamis, Holiday Inn Albany Suite's korraldatud juunioride alla 15 aastaste standardtantsude võistlusel saavutasid esikoha, oma esimesel võistlusel koos, meie uus paar Erik Rakkerrus & Kamilla Kerimhanova. Alla 15 aastaste ladinas tulid teiseks Leevi Stanislav Wakeham & Jasmine Chan ja kolmandaks Erik & Kamilla. Palju õnne võitijatele ja ma usun, et kõik Leevi koduka lugejad ühinevad minuga ja soovivad meie uuele paarile kordaminekuid aastal 2005. 22.01.05. Täna õhtul toimus kutsetega õhtusoogi võistlus (Dinner Dance) Albany Suite, Holiday Inn, Birmingham, Inglismaa. Sellel imeilusal ja väga pidulikul võistlusel saavutasid esikoha meie Warren & Kristi Boyce. Palju õnne!!! 21.01.05. Vaadake viimast Danceport Amateur Standard World Rating list, kus Leevi tantsupaar Warren & Kristi Boyce on kolmandal kohal. Samuti vaadake Dancesport Noorte Standart Maailma rating listi, kus Leevi tantsupaar Aleksandr Makarov & Katrin End on hetkel teised. 20.01.05. UK Open Championships 2005 - UK Täiskasvanute standardi Championships. Meie klubi tantsupaar Aleksandr Makarov & Katrin End jõudsid 24 parima paari hulka, Top 24 hulka jõudis veel kaks Tõusvate tähtede võistluse fianalisti ning Maailma Meistrivoistluste 12 parima hulka jõunud paar Sadecki/Nawrot pidi seekord veerandfinaali pealt vaatama. Võistlusest võttis osa 189 top täiskasvanute paari Ülemaailma. õhtu tähtedeks osutus Leevi Tantsupaar Warren & Kristi Boyce, kes saavutasid kolmanda koha omades publiku täielikku poolehoidu. 16.01.05. Universal Championships 2005 Grays, Londonis. Kaks Leevi Paari jõudsid Alla 21 aastaste vanusegrupis finaali. Mairold Millert & Alexandra Hixson saavutasid kuuenda koha ning meie Internationali võitjad Aleksandr Makarov & Katrin End said esimese koha. Palju õnne!!! 16.01.05. Shall We Dance... 15.01.05. 2005 aasta esimene täiskasvanute Karikavõistlus standardtantsudes toimus täna Weston-Super-Mareis. Leevi klubi neli inglise-eesti sega paari võistlesid sellel võistlusel. Esikoha punktid edetabelisse võitsid Warren ja Kristi Boyce, võites kõik viis tantsu. ülejäänud kolm Leevi Noorteklassi paari jõudsid kõik poolfinaali: Mairold Millert & Alexandra Hixson, Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik and Ben Taylor & Teele Kruuse. Open Foxtroti võistluse karika võitsid Mairold & Alexandra, teiseks tulid oma eismesel võistlusel Ben & Teele. Nemad viisid koju ka Basic Foxtroti võistluse karika. Meie seeniorid James Barron & Rachel Peacock võitsid Waltz of the Year Crown (krooni) ja Seenioride nelja tantsu võistluse tiitli. Palju õnne!!! 14.01.05. 12.01.05. Eesti 2005.a. 10-tantsu Meistrivõistlused toimuvad 29.jaanuaril Audentese Spordikoolis, Tondi 84, Tallinn. 08.01.05. Champions of Tomorrow 2005 Blackpool, Inglismaa. Leevi tantsijad Raplas ja Leevi jõulupidu... 03.01.05. Leevi tantsupaarid võistlesid esimesel võistlusel sellel aastal eile Nantwichis, Inglismaal. Meie paarid domineerisid sellel võistlusel, tuues koju kaheksa meistrimedalit. Juunioride ST & LA võistluse võitsid meie Andres ja Liis End. Seenioride Karika võistlusel ST tulid esimeseks meie Inglismaa meistrid James Barron & Rachel Peacock. Leevi kõige edukamad olid meie Noored Marko Kiigajaan & Mari Piksar kellel õnnestus võita nii alla 21 aastaste kui ka täiskasvanute ST & LA võistlus. Palju õnne meie uutele meistritele!!! 01.01.05.
