18.12.06. New article: Sportnet.. 15.12.06. ::Stop Press:: Warren & Kristi Boyce become World Champions in the IDU World Amateur Ballroom Championships held in Reggio di Calabria, Italy. Warren & Kristi won the 2006 IDU World Amateur Ballroom Championship at the 9000 capacity Palezza della Sport in Reggio di Calabria, Italy, ahead of second place Italians Soldati/Longo. Warren & Kristi won all five dances after five rounds of competition [including repercharge] and then performed an honour dance of Quickstep for their first dance as new World Champions. The World Championship was adjudicated by some of the finest adjudicators in the world, who have been former world or national champions.    10.12.06. Leevi's Andrey Sirbu & Alexandra Hixson finished runners up at the West London Championship in Egham with bronze medal going to Andres & Liis End. Fifth spot was taken by Evert Eero & Veronika Korõtnikova, who also won the supporting events and VW competition. Congratulations! 09.12.06. Leevi's Marko Kiigajaan & Mari Piksar danced in Salou, Spain finishing 19th in the International Open Standard from a large entry of couples. Well done! 05.12.06. 04.12.06. Leevi dancer Teele Kruuse has a new website. One highlight from her new personal site is that Teele and her partner Ben Taylor have been invited to demonstrate in Estonia on 15th December. Warren Boyce was elected at the EADA AGM to become a member of the EADA Council. He will work very hard for the future of English Dancesport and please share your opinions so he can give you the competitor a voice in the council meetings. 20.11.06. British National Championships, Blackpool. Warren & Kristi Boyce increase their record in the Amateur Standard Championship by notching up their fifth consecutive win. Grand finalists also included Mairold Millert & Amanda Couper, who had been runners up in the North of England and went on to win the Under 21 Standard. Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik were semifinalists in the amateur and in the Under 21 were only able to take third place this year, despite a good performance. Fourth were Ben Teele & Teele Kruuse who clearly deserved their top four placing with a spirited performance that saw them achieve the highest marks. Junior saw two young talented Leevi couples make the finals - congratulations to Elliot & Zoe and Lawrence & Jasmine, who both represented Bournemouth. 12.11.06. Estonian ranking results from Kiili [organised by Danceclub Leevi and ESDA] 05.11.06. Leevi's Veronika Korõtnikova & Evert Eero danced their first competition together in Cheltenham, the location of November's EADA Amateur Ranking. Last night they had demonstrated at Nice 'n' Easy's Party Night in Bournemouth. Veronika & Evert were first in the adult 4 dance event and also in the WQ supporting competition. They finished second in the Open Foxtrot behind Leevi's Andrey Sirbu & Alex Hixson, third was Jack Beale and his new partner (Jack previously danced with Leevi's Inna Progarovskajaga) and fourth was Christopher Millward & Sammy Jo Shirley. Congratulations on your first great set of results! 
05.11.06. Today's EADA Selection for Amateur Standard saw Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce pick up another 12 points with another victory. Andrey Sirbu & Alexandra Hixson already have a total of 27 points thanks to their final placing here and Ben Taylor & Teele Kruuse were semifinalists.28.10.06. Leevi's Andres & Liis End were invited as ten dancers to compete in a very special location thanks to the french organisers M. Germain. Competitors from six different nations were invited although the majority of couples were from France, to dance in Guadeloupe in the Caribbean. Andres & Liis were second to the Italian Amateurs in the Standard and second to the Slovakians in Latin but were overall winners of the ten dance. You can see them training hard below..

Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce demonstrated in China at the Taizhou Stadium immediately after their Intrenational. 18.10.06. New!!! International Championships 2006 Photo Gallery 13.10.06. The 2006 International Dance Championships were held at the world famous Royal Albert Hall in London. This year was special as Pino Buciarelli chose to retire at this venue, Soale Cerasoli took to the floor as professionals, which in turn left the couples in the amateur final needing to step up to give the audience a clear message as who would become the next dominant pairing. Perfectly timed with their improvement to this event, Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce delivered this performance and it was clear from the audience's reaction in every dance that they did, that they had won them over in style. The system rotates four panels of 18 adjudicators but without doubt, the final panel were big supporters of Team Diablo. So despite the dancing battle between Boyce & Bizokas, Team Diablo pairings sneaked in to second and third positions with Warren & Kristi fourth. In retrospect, due to Pino Buciarelli's finale, no honour dances took place, so gladly the next champions' dance of honour won't be until the UK Open Championships in Bournemouth in January. Two Leevi couples made the Albert Hall evening rounds and were in the top 50 best amateur's in the world. They were Leevi's Aleksandr Makarov & Katrin End and Andrey Sirbu & Alexandra Hixson. In a month of 'ding dong' clashes between them and Mairold Millert & Amanda Couper they rested slightly on top in terms of this result. One thing for sure, is that this has helped the couples both make terrific improvements and is a great motivator. Andrey & Alex also defeated this year's Youth World Standard Champions Brovko Kalashnikova - congratulations! 12.10.06. Brentwood International Championships. The Under 21 Standard saw all the top youths in action, except tragically for Leevi's Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik who were invlolved in a car accident en route to the event. Fortunately, neither Ryan or Olesja nor any of their family were hurt, although their pet jaguar needs some TLC! Two Leevi couple's made the final of the Under 21 Standard with both receiveing the very highest marks from some adjudicators. Mairold Millert & Amanda Couper finished third in what was their last year in this category and Andrey Sirbu & Alexandra Hixson fourth. An excellent result for England and Team Leevi as it has been some time since two couples made the final at the same time in this event. Competing for the first time in the Under 21, Andres & Liis End were just shaded out of a semifinal position, as were Ben Taylor & Teele Kruuse, and Leevi's Marko Kiigajaan & Mari Piksar just missed the 24. The previous day in Under 21 Latin, Marko & Mari were in the top 24 couples, an excellent result, and Andres & Liis did well making the top 96 latin. The International Junior Standard saw Leevi's Raiko Valjamae & Baile Orb make the top 24, and Jan Hamburg & Maria Soone the top 48. The International Juvenile Standard and Latin saw Leevi's Armand Fazulin & Marit Mets just outside of the top six. Congratulations to all Leevi couple's on your performances, now back to work on making them better for the next one! 10.10.06. Night of 100 Stars Invitational Under 21 Standard. Team Leevi took the top three positions with Mairold Millert & Amanda Couper, Andrey Sirbu & Alexandra Hixson and Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik first to third. Fifth were Leevi's Ben Taylor & Teele Kruuse who danced depsite illness on this occasion. Well done! 09.10.06. Leevi's Andres & Liis End won the Open Amateur Ballroom and Amateur Latin events today at Horsham, England. Congratulations! 09.10.06. Leevi's Andrey Sirbu & Alexandra Hixson were finalists today at the Imperial Under 21 in Frimley Green, England, where over 60 couples competed. Well done! 02.10.06. The IDTA Midlands Amateur Standard Championship, Wolverhampton, England saw three Leevi couples make the seven couple final in an exciting competition leading up to the International. Congratulations on some excellent marks and dancing in 'one of the best amateur EADA finals England has seen' as compere Martin Cutler rightly summed up this great event! CCADA Bournemouth EADA Amateur Standard saw Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce win for a third time as they have only competed here in alternate years. In a strong ranking competition there was still good success for the other two Bournemouth couples with Andrey Sirbu & Alexandra Hixson finishing fifith and Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik just missing the final. In the Glenn Boyce Memorial Open Foxtrot Trophy, Warren & Kristi won, Andrey & Alex were third and Leevi's Ben Taylor & Teele Kruuse were fifith. Ben & Teele were also semi finalists in the EADA and last year's holders of the Glenn Boyce Foxtrot Trophy! The CCADA Junior 10 Dance saw Stas & Jasmine emerge overall winners and Elliot & Zoe placed third. Congratulations! 
18.09.06. Leevi's Andres & Liis End competed today in eight separate ballroom and latin events at today's competition in Leatherhead and remarkably won all eight! The Amateur Standard title was taken in all dances by Andres & Liis with Rhett Salmon & April Mcmahon from Austrailia second. Andres & Liis won the amateur latin, youth standard and latin and two solo dances in each style. Congratulations! Three Leevi couples were finalists in the Amateur Championship with Warren & Kristi Boyce winning with all first placings, bronze going to Leevi's Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik and fourth were Andres & Liis End. Andres & Liis won four remaining Hampshire titles the same day: U21 ST, Open Foxtrot, U21 Latin & Amateur Latin! Over 50s saw Bill Douglas & Shirley Cook finish in silver position and Roger & Ann Sherfield take the bronze. Bill & Shirley also took bronze in the Open Foxtrot and Roger & Ann were fourth in the Open Senior. Juniors saw Leevi's Stas & Jasmine take gold and Elliot & Zoe won the bronze medal [pictured below]. Adult beginners ballroom and latin were won by Nice n' Easy's Jason & Carrie-Ann. Congratulations to all Team Leevi dancers and to the organisers for a great day!

20.08.06. Bloxwich EADA ranking events. Team Leevi couples danced in EADA events today at the great venue that hosts the Central Dancesport Festival. Amateur Champions once again were Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce (1.1.1.1.1.), sixth Mairold Millert & Amanda Couper (6.6.6.6.6.), ninth Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik and 11th Ben Taylor & Teele Kruuse. 24.07.06. Uued Leevi videoklipid... 24.07.06. "How Music Works", Channel 4 TV Shoot: During June Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce took part in some filming for Channel 4's new series of "How Music Works". Along with 3 other couples, choreographed and danced to Strauss's Waltz "Roses from the South". The idea was to show how the baseline of Strauss's music allows the dancers to "re-set" their feet at certain points during the music. The latest EADA Junior Standard Ranking was held at the Floral Hall, Stockport the day after Le Classique de Danse Awards. Leevi's Stanislav Wakeham & Jasmine Chan won the silver medal and fourth were Elliot Plate & Zoe Stacey. Stas and Jasmine also won bronze in the latin section. Under 21 and Amateur Standard events were both won by Leevi's Mairold Millert & Amanda Couper. Congratulations to everyone! 14.07.06. Le Classique De Dans Awards, Floral Hall, Southport 2006. Warren & Kristi Boyce were nominated as the 'Best Amateur Ballroom Couple' for the third consecutive year at this prestigous ceremony and waltzed away with the award also for the third time. Congratulations! Winning the Best Amateur Latin for the first time was the former partnership of Smagin & Heron who collected their award and gave thanks to each other. Evgenii & new partner Beata were to debut at this event with their new show as professionals but unfortunately were not ready in time. Leevi's Warren & Kristi had the honour of being the first Amateurs to demonstrate at Le Classique and received a standing ovation at the end of their Quickstep. 10.07.06. New Leevi DPA England Trip Photo Gallery - Bournemouth... 10.07.06. Team Leevi Estonians Trip to Bournemouth & the DPA Festival... 10.07.06. United Kingdom Closed Championships and DPA Bournemouth Masters Gala Festival. Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce extended their record to a fifth consecutive UK Closed Amateur Ballroom Championship title at the Dinner Dance on Saturday. Warren & Kristi hold an amazing ten UK Closed and British National Championship titles, and hold the record number of wins in both events ever and are nominated once again for the Best Amateur Couple at next weeks awards in Southport. The most anticipated event of the weekend was the vacant UK Closed Under 21 Ballroom Championship where four Leevi couples were all vying for the title which Leevi's former partnership of Millert/Hixson had won last year. In recent events the form book showed there to be no form between these four hardworking talented couples, the newest of these Mairold Millert & Amanda Couper choosing this to be their first event together. After what has probably been the best Under 21 final for some years, the four Leevi couples did achieve the top four positions and the reulsts were as follows: 1st Mairold Millert & Amanda Couper, 2nd Andrey Sirbu & Alexandra Hixson, 3rd Ben Taylor & Teele Kruuse, 4th Ryan Wilson & Olesja Kosik. Mairold & Amanda also went on to break into the Amateur final finishing in sixth position and the other three Leevi couples placing highly in the semifinal. UK Closed Junior Standard saw Elliot Plate & Zoe Stacey take fifth spot and the Bournemouth Masters Senior Championship saw Leevi's Roger & Ann Sherfield reach the semifinal. In the Bournemouth Masters Open to the World Gala on Friday, the Junior Championship saw Leevi's Raiko Valjamae & Baile Orb win the silver medal, Jan Hamburg & Maria Soone take fifth, Elliot & Zoe sixth and Karl & Maria Sutt seventh. The Junior Latin Championship saw Jan & Maria win the bronze medal, Karl & Maria were fourth and Elliot & Zoe were in the semi final. The Bournemouth Masters Open to the World Juvenile saw Leevi's Armand Fazulin & Marit Mets win both the Ballroom & Latin Championships and Rain & Jane were also in both finals finishing 3rd and 6th respectively. Mihkel & Lauren and Joonas & Andrea made both semis. Sunday's supporting events were a chance for some of Leevi's beginners to shine. Winners of the Novice Junior Standard and Latin events were Jaanus & Gerli, who came fourth in Under 14s Ballroom & the semi of the latin. The Novice Juvenile saw Joonas & Andrea finish 2nd in standard and 7th in latin. Mario & Hannabel were 7th in the standard final and semi in the latin. Oliver & Lauren made both semis. The Under 11s saw Joonas & Andrea finish 6th in ballroom and were in the latin semi along with Mario & Hannabel, who reached semis in standard too. 15.12.06. Sellel nädalavahetusel toimusid IDU Täiskasvanute Maailmameistrivõistlused Standardtantsudes Itaalias, Reggio Calabria. 9000 pealtvaataja ees krooniti 2006a. Täiskasvanute Maailmameistriteks Stanadradtantsudes meie Warren ja Kristi Boyce. Warren ja Kristi olid esimesed kõigis viies tantus itaallaste Stefano Soldati ja Annalisa Longo ees. Võistlusel oli viis vooru koos re-tantsuga ja lõppes võitijatantsuga, mis oli nende esimene quikstep värskete maailmameistritena. Võistlust hindasid kõik endised profide maailmameistrid või tunnustatud tanstu spetsialistid. 10.12.06. Leevi Andrey Sirbu & Alexandra Hixson saavutasid teise koha West Londoni Championship'il Egham, London. Andres ja Liis End tulid samal võistlusel kolmandaks võites quikstepi, Evert Eero ja Veroniks Korotnikova olid viiendad. Nemad võitsid viini valsi erivõistluse. Palju õnne!!! 09.12.06. 05.11.06. Cheltenham, Inglismaa. Veronika Korõtnikova ja Evert Eero on tänaseks harjutanud koos juba peaaegu neli kuud. Laupäeval oli nende esimene etteaste suure publiku ees, nad esinesid Bournemouthis Nice n Easy tantsustuudios. Pühapäeval oli nende esimene võistlus. Veronika ja Evert olid esimesed Täiskasvanute 4-tantsu võistlusel ja AV&Q erivõistlusel. Nad tulid teiseks Fokstroti Open'il Andrey Sirbu ja Alex Hixsoni järel, võites Jack Beali koos uue partneriga (tantsis enne Inna Progarovskajaga) ja Christopher Millwordi. Palju õnne, suurepärane esimene etteaste!!!05.11.06. Cheltenham, Inglismaa. Täiskasvanute EADA Karikas. Warren ja Kristi Boyce saavutasid esikoha võites kõik viis tantsu ja teine Leevi paar Andrey Hixson & Alex Hixson tulid kuuendaks. Ben Taylor ja Teele Kruuse jõudsid poolfinaali. 28.10.06. Leevi Andres & Liis End olid kutsutud võistlema 10-tantsu võistlusele Guadeloupe, Kariibidele. Enamus osavõtijad olid Prantsusmaalt, kuid esindatud oli kuus eririiki. Andres ja Liis olid teised standardtantsudes Itaalia täiskasvanute paari järel ja teised ladinas Slovakia paari järel. Loomulikult kuulutati nad meistriteks 10-tantsus. Piltidelt on näha kuidas nad valmistusid tähtsaks võistluseks... :) Palju õnne!!!

Spordihoones saab näha tipptasemel võistlustantsu Novembris korraldab tantsuklubi Leevi Kalev Kiili spordihoones Eesti karikavõistluste etapi võistlustantsudes. Tantsijaid saab näha igas vanuses ja klassis, publikumagnetiks on maailma paremikku kuuluvad Eesti tipptantsijad. Esmakordselt Kiilis toimuv tantsuvõistlus lisab Kiili spordihoone kasutusvõimalustele veel ühe tahu – lisaks käsipalluritele, korvpalluritele ja paljudele teistele spordialadele kiitsid saali kasutuskõlbulikuks ka küllaltki valivad võistlustantsijad. „Käisime spordihoone avamisel seal tantsimas ja siis tekkis idee siin võistelda,” rääkis Marika Kontson tantsuklubist Leevi. Tallinna räämas, pimedate ja mustade spordisaalide kõrval peetakse Kiili saali eelisteks kaasaegsust, puhtust ja valgusküllasust. Kalleid võistluskostüüme kandvad tantsijad peavad ruumide puhtust küllalt oluliseks teguriks. Ka on rendihinnad soodsamad kui pealinnas. Võistluste ajaks kaetakse saali põrand spetsiaalse kattega. Võistlemas saab näha erinevas vanuses ja kogemusega tantsijaid. Dklass hõlmab kõiki algajaid tantsijaid, C-klassis tantsivad juba suuremate kogemustega tantsijad ning B-, A- ja S-klassides, kes on ajakavas ühendatud „vaba klassi” nime alla, astuvad üles tipptasemel võistlejad. Igas klassis on veel ka eraldi vanusekategooriad. „Kõik Eesti tipptantsijad on Kiilis kohal,” lubas Kontson. Näiteks toob ta paari Aleksander Makarov ja Katrin End. Makarov on laiemale üldsusele tuntuks saanud kui Ingrid Tähismaa partner ülipopulaarses Kanal 2 saates „Tantsud Tähtedega”. Võisteldakse nii standard- kui ladina- ameerika tantsudes. Igas klassis esitatakse kümme erinevat tantsu – näha saab nii graatsilisi tantse nagu valss kui ka temperamentseid tantse nagu cha-cha. Karikavõistlusi peetakse igal aastal erinevates paikades üle Eesti. Kiilis toimuvad nad esimest korda, varem karikaid jagatud Paides, Elvas, Pärnus, Kohilas, Tartus ja mujalgi. Sõltuvalt tantsuvõistluse korralduse õnnestumisest ja menust otsustatakse edasiste võistluste korraldamine Kiilis. 18.10.06. Uued pildid!!! - International Championships 2006 14.10.06. International Championship 2007, Royal Albert Hall. Täiskasvanute standardtantsudes jõudis tänavu kolm Leevi paari lõppvõistlusele Royal Alber Halli. Aleksandr Makarov/Katrin End ja Andrey Sirbu/Alex Hixon jäid mõlemad napilt välja veerandfinaalist. Warren ja Kristi Boyce jõudsid järjekordselt finaali, saavutades neljanda koha. Palju õnne!!! 14.10.06. International Championship 2007a. Tänavu olid TK Leevi tantsupaarid eriti edukad alla 21 aastaste vansegrupis. Standardtantsudes võistles ligi 200 tantsupaari ja esmakordselt õnnestus Leevil finaaali saada kahel paaril. Mairold Millert/Amanda Couper saavutasid kolmanda koha ja Andrey Sirbu/Alex Hixson Briti Leevist olid neljandad. Vaid napilt jäid poolfinaalist välja enda esimesel alla 21 aastaste Internationalil Andres/Liis End ja 48 parima paari hulka jõudsid Marko Kiigajan/Mari Piksar. Ladinas võistles samuti ligi 200 tantsupaari ja esmakordslt Eesti tantsuajaloos jõudsid eestlased, Marko ja Mari, 24 parima tantsupaari hulka alla 21 aastaste vanuseklassis. Andres ja Liis olid Ladinas 96 hulgas. Juuniorides võistles üle 100 tantsupaari ja Leevi Raiko Väljamäe/Baile Orb jõudsid 24 parima tantsupaari hulka standardtantsudes. Mõlemal võistlusel Ladinas ja Standardis jõudsid Leevi Jan Hamburg/Maria Soone 48 parima paari hulka. Lastes olid Leevi Armand Fazulin/Marit Mets poolfinaalis nii standardis kui ka ladinas. 02.10.06. 15.07.06. Uus Show... 15.07.06. Viimane EADA Juunioride karikasarja võistlus toimus Floral Hallis, Southportis 2006. Päev peale Le Classique Auhindade jagamist. Leevi Stanislav Wakeham & Jasmine Chan võitsid hõbeda standardtantsudes ja pronksi ladinas. Alla 21 aastaste ja täiskasvanute standardi võitsid Mairold Millert ja Amanda Couper. Palju õnne!!! 14.07.06. Le Classique De Dans Awards, Floral Hall, Southport 2006. Warren ja Kristi Boyce nomineeriti kolmandat aastat järjest Le Classique Auhindade jagamisele. 10.07.06. Leevi klubi reis Bournemouthi festivali... 10.07.06. United Kingdom Closed Championship ja DPA Bournemouth Masters Gala Festival 2006. Leevi Warren ja Kristi Boyce tulid Inglismaa meistriteks viiendat aastat järjest, olles võitnud kokku kümme Inglismaa ja Briti meistrivõistlust viimase kuue aasta jooksul. Kõige huvitavam ja kõige rohkrm pingeid valmistav meistrivõistlus oli alla 21 aastaste vanusegrupp. Neli Leevi paari võitlesid meistritiitli peale, peale kolme vooru riputati meistrimedalid kaela Mairold Millertile ja Amanda Couperile. Teiseks tulid Leevikad Andrei Sirbu ja Alex Hixson, kolmandaks Ben Taylor ja Teele Kruuse, neljandaks Ryan Wilson ja Olesja Kosik. Mairold ja Amanda jõudsid ka oma esimesel võistluel koos, kohe ka Täiskasvanute finaali, saavutades väga tubli kuuenda koha. Ülejäänud kolm paari olid kõik täiskasvanute poolfinaalis. Bournemouth Mastersil Juunioride ST saavutasid Raiko Väljamäe - Baile Orb teise koha, Jan Hamburg - Maria Soone viienda koha js Karl - Maia Suut tulid seitsmendaks. Juunioride Ladinas olid Jan - Maria kolmandad ja Karl - Maria neljandad. Bornemouth Mastersi Laste klassi ST ja LA võitijateks tulid Armand Fazulin ja Marit Mets, Rain ja Jane saavutasid LA 6. koha ja ST 3.koha. Samal võistlusel jõudsid Joonas - Andrea ja Mihkel - Eleri poolfinaali. Pühapäeaval saavutasid Jaanus ja Kerli klassivõistlusel esikoha nii ST kui ka LA. Laste vanuserühma klassivõistlustel saavutasid Joonas - Andrea ST 6.koha. Algajate Laste vanuserühmas jõudsid ST finaali nii Joonas - Andrea kui ka Mario - Hannabel, vastavalt 2. ja 6. koht.
