Warren & Kristi Boyce made the final of the Professional European Championship finishing in fifth place. Surpassing mum and dad, their son, Glenn Richard Boyce and his partner Natalia Tea de Larrinaga finished fourth in the final of the Juvenile Under 10s World Ballroom Championship. Winning the Professional Ballroom Championship were Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce, who can be seen below with organiser Aleena Tan & prize presenter Jerry Abrate. 
09.10.08. International Championships 2008 - Royal Albert Hall, London. Warren & Kristi Boyce competing in their first International as professionals had to go through the qualifying rounds in Brentwood before dancing in the RAH where they achieved a great semi final position of ninth, with all the worlds best couples competing. As amatuers Warren & Kristi had been in the final for the last six consecutive years. 10.06.08. Leevi's James & Rachel Barron took runner's up spot today in a hotly contested UK Closed Senior Ballroom Championship and overturned Friday evening's Masters result finishing ahead of the winning couple from that event. 12.07.08. Day 2 2008 DPA Bournemouth Summer Festival. Leevi's Jason Dobbs & Carrieanne Gill won the Amateur Intermediate Ballroom today and followed up their success by winning the silver medal in the Open Amateur Pre-Champ Ballroom and silver in Intermediate Latin. Leevi's Roger & Ann Sherfield returned to the competition floor after seven months in the Over 50s Senior Ballroom where they achieved a fantastic 2nd place having danced four rounds in this event. Leevi's Lawrence James & Zoe Stacey, competiting for their first time in the Under 21 catgory, and new partners Slava Klimkin & Nikita Vince, both narrowly missed out on making the final six in a very strong semi. 11.07.08. Day 1 2008 DPA Bournemouth Summer Festival. Leevi's Karl-Andres Saul & Gerli Vinkel convincingly won the Bournemouth Masters Junior Ballroom Championship with almost maximum first placings. Their results marks and summary are available here. New Juniors Elliot Murray-Flint & Esme Campbell tied into the 14 couple semi in 14th position but unfortunately the chairman reduced the semi to 13 on this occasion. Better news though in the Junior Latin when fourteen couples were recalled and they made the semi final. The Juvenile Ballroom saw Leevi's Rando Randma & Lauren Juhansen win the bronze medal. Making a great return to the top of UKs senior ballroom were Leevi's James & Rachel Barron who missed out on a victory mathematically despite having the majority of first places over 5 dances. The result was 3-2 and they came away with the silver medal. Fingers crossed for a little more luck on Sunday. 29.06.08. Britain's Best Titles in the Somerset Hall, Portishead. Juveniles Glenn Richard Boyce & Natalia Tea de Larrinaga won all the under 8s titles including couples WQ and CS and solos W and C. 
22.06.08. EADA Amateur Standard held today at Crowthorne saw Leevi's popular Slava Klimkin and Nikita Vince reach the semifinal picking up five ranking points. The Amateur Latin saw Nikita and Slava win the silver medal to round off a great day. 22.06.08. Norwest Masters at Stockport Town Hall. Juveniles Glenn Richard Boyce & Natalia Tea de Larrinaga made great impressions in the under 12 beginner category, third in ballroom [WQ] and fourth in the latin [CS] which had over twenty couples. In U11s Open WQ they were fourth and they missed the final of the Juvenile Open WQ by a single mark, with several top ranked British couples dancing in the final. 
15.06.08. Today saw the competition debut of Glenn Richard Boyce & Natalia Tea de Larrinaga in Portslade at the ISTD regional qualifier. Having put in some super performances for such young dancers, they achieved the following results..1st Under 8s Solo Waltz Boys 1st Under 8s Solo Cha Cha Boys 1st Under 8s Solo Waltz Girls 1st Under 8s Solo Cha Cha Girls 1st Under 8s Couples Waltz 1st Under 8s Couples Cha Cha Highlights in the style of Alvin & The Chipmunks! 21.05.08. Leevi's Andres & Liis End competed over 10 dances in a week long trip to Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean. Andres & Liis received varying positions over the week including 2nd in Amateur Standard. 11.05.08. Warren & Kristi Boyce won the Open Professional Ballroom title at the Dance & Listen Championships held today at Watford Colosseum, England. Unfortunately England's current No.1 couple Wilkins/Newberry had to pull out through sickness, which enabled Warren & Kristi to take full advantage winning all dances. The Open to the World Amateur event saw Leevi's Andres & Liis End finish amonst the top twelve couples in today's semifinal. 05.05.08. English Open Championships 2008, Frimley Green, England. Warren & Kristi Boyce finished overall in third position in a tight contest involving two of the finalists from the 2007 World Professional Championships, who placed first and second. Warren & Kristi took dance placings of 2.3.3.3.2. in a great start to their pre~blackpool warm~up, but for example, in the slow foxtrot they had the most first placings but placed third. The Asian Open Tour, Singapore Open Professional Championship 2008 was the eighth leg and final event. Warren & Kristi finished in fifth position and achieved five final placings in their first pro tour. 10.03.08. Asian Open Tour, Kuala Lumpur Open Professional Championship 2008. Warren ja Kristi Boyce took fifth once again in the Malaysian leg of the tour. 08.03.08. Asian Open Tour, Jakarta Open Professional Championship 2008. Indonesia's premier event saw Warren & Kristi finished fifth in the final after four rounds of competition. 05.03.08. Asian Open Tour Macau Open Professional Championship 2008. Warren & Kristi Boyce finished once again in eighth position, this time missing inclusion to the final by only four marks. The full result was a repeat of the lineup from the competition in Korea two days ago. Also taking place in Macau were the 2008 World Dance Series Ranking Awards. The top twelve professionals in the the world ranking list are recognised and awards are given. Although having only danced in two World Series events due to having turned professional in November, Warren & Kristi were most surprised to find they already made it into this presentation receiving the award for tenth place. 02.03.08. The Estonian 10 Dance Championships took place today in Keila's Sport Stadium in Tallinn. The Amateur Championship saw Leevi's Andres & Liis End win the bronze medal. This time they were one point away ffrom finishing overall in second position, but were able to convincinly win the standard section. Junior II saw Leevi reach the podium again with young stars Armand Fazulin & Marit Mets, who are only in their first year of Junior II! In the same category Avo Kullamaa & Maria Sutt also became finalists taking sixth spot. Just outside the Junior I final were Madis Abel & Alina Tamuljonok who were in 7th position and in Youth eighth place went to Erik Raikkerus & Kristine Volt and ninth to Danceclub Leevi's Argo Oblikas & Epp Mäekivi. 02.03.08. Warren & Kristi Boyce competed today in Korea for the Seoul Open Professional Ballroom Championships in the latest leg of the Asian Open Dance Tour. They finished in eighth position missing the final by only three marks. The competition was won by Gozzoli-Betti, 2.Bizokas-Demidova, 3.Wilkins-Newbery, 4.Howson-Bolton, 5.Villa-Cologreco 6.Krapez-Nigro. 23.02.08. Kristi & Warren are dancing in the Asian Tour. The first competition was the World Series Ranking event in Tokyo, The Asian Open Professional Ballroom Championship, where Warren & Kristi finished 10th. Winners were Gozzoli-Betti, second Wilkins-Newbery and third were Howson-Bolton. Following this, their second World Ranking event, Warren & Kristi Boyce moved up the world rankings from 55th position to 28th position. The second competition on the tour was held in Nagoya, Japan. Warren & Kristi finished second to winners Wilkins & Newberry. Yesterday Warren & Kristi were on the third leg in Taiwan dancing in the Asian Tour Chinese Taipei Open Professional Standard Championships where they made the final finishing sixth. The following day saw Leevi's young under 21 pairing, Andres & Liis End finish ninth in the Amateur Rising Star Championship. 02.02.08. Leevi's Andres & Liis End represented Estonia at the Bercy Masters Gala held in Paris, France this weekend. They were the first Estonians to dance in the Amateur event. Of course, Warren & Kristi have won this event whilst amateurs and Andres & Liis already finished fourth in this year's championship. Professional demonstrators this year were the current World Latin No.1, Michael Malitowski and Joanna Leunis and new pros and former Amateur Champions Warren & Kristi Boyce who entertained the capacity 12,000 audience and live TV viewers. 25.01.08. Leevi's Andres & Liis End reached the round of 49-96 which included all the current best Amateurs in the world in the Standard category. Uued Leevi videoklipid.. 12.03.08. Asian Open Tour, Singapore Open Professional Championship 2008 oli viimane, kaheksas võistlus Aasia turneel. Warren ja Kristi saavutasid viienda koha. 10.03.08. Asian Open Tour, Kuala Lumpur Open Professional Championship 2008. Malaysias olid samuti Warren ja Kristi Boyce viiendad elukutseliste standardtantsude finaalis. 08.03.08. Asian Open Tour, Jakarta Open Professional Championship 2008. Indoneesias saavutasid Warren ja Kristi viienda koha. 05.03.08. Asian Open Tour, Macau Open Professional Championship 2008. Warren ja Kristi Boyce olid jälle kaheksandad, jäädes seekord finaalist välja nelja ristiga. Tulemused olidki kogu võistlsel täpselt samad, mis kaks päeva tagasi peetud Korea Openil. Macaus toimus ka 2008a. World Dance Series Ranking Awards. Elukutseliste võistlustantsijate edetabeli järgi jagatakse esimesele 12. tantsupaarile kord aastas preemia auhind. Vaid kahel elukutseliste MK etapil osalenud, õnnestus Warrenil ja Kristi tõusta 10. kohale auhindade jagamise ajaks. See on suurepärane saavutus tantsupaarile, kes on elukutselistega jõudu katsunud vaid veidi üle kolme kuu. 02.03.08 Eesti Meistrivõistlused 10-tantsus 2008 peeti täna Keila Sporsdihoones. Kahel tantsuklubi Leevi paaril õnnestus piedestaalile tõusta. Täiskasvanute vanuseklassis saavutasid kolmanda koha Andres ja Liis End. Seekord jäi hõbemedalitest puudu vaid üks kohapunkt, kuid selle eest võitsid nad standardtantsude osa. Juunior II vanuseklassis riputati pronksmedalid kaela meie väikestele staaridele, Armand Fazulin ja Marit Mets. Samas vanuseklassis saavutasid kuuenda koha Avo Kulamaa ja Maria Sutt. Palju õnne! Napilt jäid välja finaalist Juunior I vanuseklassis ST pronksmedali omanikud Madis Abel ja Alina Tamuljonok 7. koht ja Noorte vanuseklassis läks 8. koht Erik Raikarus ja Kristine Voltile ja 9.koht TK Leevi Argo Oblikas ja Epp Mäekivi. 02.03.08 Täna võistlesid Warren ja Kristi Koreas. Seoul Open Professional Championship 2008 jäid Warren ja Kristi 8. kohale. Finaali kohast jäi puudu vaid kolm risti. Võistluse võitsid itaalased Gozzoli-Betti, teine koht läks USAse Bizokas-Demidova, kolmandad olid inglased Wilkins-Newbery, neljandad inglased Howson-Bolton, viiendad Villa-Cologreco ja kuuendad sloveenlased Krapez-Niegro. 23.02.08 Kristi ja Warren Boyce on Aasia turneel. Esimeseks võistluseks oli Asian Open Professional Ballroom Champioship, mis läks kirja ka MK-etapina. Kristi ja Warren Boyce saavutasid 10. koha, võitsid maailmameistrid Mirko Gozzoli ja Alessia Betti Itaaliast, teised oli inglased Jonathan Wilkins ja Hazel Newbery ning kolmandad samuti inglased Timothy Howson ja Joanne Bolton. Pärast avavõistlust tõusid Boyce´id maailma edetabelis 55. kohalt 28. kohale. Teine võistlus JDC Asian Open Professional Dance Championships peeti Nagoyas. Kristi ja Warren Boyce võitsid teise koha, neid edestasid vaid inglased Wilkins ja Newbery. Eile Taiwanis peetud kolmas võistlus kandis nime Asian Tour Chinese Taipei Open Professional Standard Championships. Kristi ja Warren Boyce saavutasid finaalis kuuenda koha. Võitsid ameeriklased Arunas Bizokas ja Katusha Demidova, teised olid Wilkins ja Newbery (Inglismaa) ning kolmandad Roberto Villa ja Morena Colagreco (Itaalia). [EPL] 20.02.08. VAATA TULEMUSI SIIT Järgmisel päeval võistlesid meie Andres ja Liis End Täiskasvanute Tõusvate Tähtede turniiril ja saavutasid kõrge 9. koha 44 osavõtnud tantsupaari seas. 02.02.08. Leevi Andres ja Liis esindasid Eestit Bercy Masters Galal Pariisis, Prantsusmaal. Andres ja Liis saavutasid neljanda koha Täiskasvanute Standardtantsudes. Sellel aastal olid esinejateks praegused Profesionaalide Ladina-Ameerikatantsude Maailmameistrid Michael Malitowski and Joanna Leunis koos endiste Täiskasvanute Maailmameitrite uute proffide Warren ja Kristi Boyce´ga. Nad esinesid 12 000 inimese ees ja nende esinemine oli otse ülekandes Prantsusmaa televisioonis. 25.01.08. UK Open Champioship 2008. Profesionaalide Standardtantsudes võistlesid Leevi Warren ja Kristi Boyce. See oli küll juba nende kolmas võistlus profesionaalide seas, kuid esimest korda võistlesid kõik maailma tipud. Seega oli väga huvitav näha millisesse vooru Warren ja Kristi jõuavad. See võistlus kujunes läbi aegade kõige tugevamaks ja huvitavamaks, kuna hiljutiste tippude lahkuminekute järel oli sündinud kaks täiesti uut paari Jonathan Wilkins - Hazel Newbery (Inglsimaa) ja Arunas Bizokas - Katusha Demidova (USA). Seega oli 8 potensiaalset finaali paari. Lõpuks jõudsid finaali 7 tantsupaari, kellest viis oli endised või praegused proffide maailmameistrid. See oli unustamatu võistlus, mis jääb kõikide tantsufännide mällu väga pikaks ajaks. Warrenil ja Kristil õnnestus jõuda poolfinaali - maailma 12. absoluutse parema hulka, mis tähendas viie regulaarse poolfinalisti võitmist. Nendest viiest paarist kolm on olnud kõikides poolfinaalides juba kolma aastat. See oli uskumatu tulemus, kuid nüüd on tarvis Warrenil ja Kristi edasi areneda, et ka järgmistel võistlustel kõiki neid superstaare võita ja ka varsti finaali uksele koputama hakata. Leevi Andres ja Liis ainukeste eestlastena jõudsid 96 parema paari hulka Täiskasvanute vanuseklassis, kus võistlesid kõik maailma parimad täiskasvanute paarid. Ainult ühel alla 21 aastaste vanuserüma paaridest õnnestus 48 parema paari hulka pääseda. Andres ja Liis võivad väga õnnelikud ja rahul olla oma esimese UK tulemusega. Palju õnne. 19.01.08. Eesti Meistrivõistlused Standardtantsudes 2008. Tantsuklubi Leevi võistlustantsijad jõudsid finaali kõikides vanuserühmades. Laste vanuseklassis Artur Butel & Lauren Juhansen - Eesti Meistrid Juunior I vanuseklassis - Madis Abel & Alina Tamuljonok - 3. koht Junior II vanuseklassis - Armand Fazulin & Marit Mets - 3. koht Noored I vanuseklassis - Evert Eero & Veronika Korotnikova - 4. koht Noored II vanuseklassis - Andres & Liis End - 3. koht Täiskasvanute vanuseklassis - Andres & Liis End - 6. koht Leevi paarid, kes jõudsid poolfinaali: Avo Kullamaa & Maria Sutt, Erik Raikerrus & Kristiina Volt, Lars Trunin & Grete Raidmam, Argo Oblikas & Epp Maekivi, Mait Roomus & Annabel Vaata siit kõikide Leevi paaride tulmusi.. 16.01.08. Star Championship 2008 - maailma vanim tantsuturniir. Oma teisel esinemisel profesionaalide seas võitsid Warren ja Kristi Boyce pronksmedalid kuulsal Staaride Meistrivõistlusel. Leevi Andres ja Liis End jõudsid veerandfinaali 24 parema paari hulka Täiskasvanute vanuseklassis. Andres ja Liis paistsid väga hästi silma juba kogenud täiskasvanute seas ja on kindlasti väga õnnelikud selle saavutuse üle. Palju õnne. |
