Dancing in Beginners or Social events does not comprimise anyones status, whether they are a medallist from ISTD IDTA UKA etc or a social dancer and you do not need to be registered with the amatuer body EADA either to enter at this level.

Would you like a holiday with a difference? Are you passionate about your dancing and eager to learn and improve under the guidance of a former World Champion? This is now possible! Seize the moment and book on one of Lynette’s dance holidays which deliver expert tuition, fun and friendship in a holiday location!
We have recently returned from a super break hosted by Lynette on behalf of Holiday & Dance at the Victoria Hotel, in the TLH Leisure Resort at Torquay, the South West’s Number 1 Dance Holiday Venue. We joined twenty two other couples for a great value, four night half board break, where we enjoyed exclusive use of the beautiful Warwick Ballroom with its fabulous sprung wood floor.
By day our minds (and bodies) were put through their paces and inspired by Lynette in her morning workshops. In her truly recognisable style, extensive detail of the fundamentals of the Modern Ballroom dances were emphasised at every point, using little analogies as aide memoirs to help us to gain the most from the lovely choreography. This continued during 30 minute early evening sessions. One afternoon Tea Dance, giving more chance to practise, was also run by Lynette and her assistant Val. Lynette played top quality Ballroom and Latin music from CD’s for the friendly evening dances ensuring an enjoyable dance experience for all.
From the first night, when we met for a pre-dinner wine reception with Lynette, a fantastic, friendly atmosphere was evident and prevailed throughout the break. By the final night it had taken on the party spirit and a great deal of camaraderie! All that was left to do now was book ahead for Lynette’s next break at Torquay, this time for 5 nights commencing 31st October 2010, or maybe, for Christmas when Lynette joins Philip Wylie and Pam Peters at The Victoria Hotel for the famous Christmas House Dance Party! Additionally, private lessons with Lynette were also available during the holiday and these proved to be very popular. While some guests enjoyed relaxing sessions in the hotel’s Aztec Pool or Spa, the lure of shopping in Torquay was just too much to resist for some ladies! For others, the pleasures of the surrounding countryside could not be complete without a Devon Clotted Cream Tea!
