22.11.09. New Professional Champions Warren & Kristi Boyce demonstrated today at the WDC World Professional Latin American Championships, stepping in at the last minute to perform alongside Exhibition Champions Craig Smith & Natalie Woolf in place of recently retired Champions Jonathan Wilkins & Hazel Newberry MBE, who had immigration problems in the US preventing them from attending. Held at the fabulous Empress Ballroom in the Blackpool Wintergardens, organised by the BDF, the final result saw the championship go to Malitowski/Leunis, 2 Cocchi/Zagorychenko 3 Formica/Lebedew.

21.11.09. Fantastic festival for Team Leevi's British dancers at the Empress Ballroom in the Blackpool Wintergardens organised by Leisure Parcs. Day 1 saw Liis End & Kyle Taylor win all five dances to become the British National Under 21 Yeasr Latin Champions. Day 2 saw Liis & Kyle take the silver medal in the British National Amateur Ballroom Championship at their first effort for this title together. Day 3 saw Leevi's Glenn Richard Boyce & Lydia Hedges dance four rounds in each style of the British National Juvenile U12 Championship going all the way to make the final in the Juvenile Ballroom & semi in Latin. Following the daytime success the last event of the festival took place Saturday evening. Warren & Kristi Boyce, all time record holding 6 x winners of the British National Amateur Championship, competed first time for the British National Professional Ballroom Trophy and became champions winning all five dances.

Möödunud nädalavahetusel 14. ja 15. novembril osalesid meie tantsijad Helsinki IDSF International Open 2009.
Maailma Meistrivõistluste hõbedane paar Armand Fazullin ja Marit Mets võistlesid Juunior II vanuserühmas saavutades standardtantsudes 3. koha ja ladina-ameerika tantsudes 5. koha. Rapla Leevi tantsupaar Andreas Roosson)– Epp Mäekivi tantsisid täiskasvanute arvestuses (19-35a) ja olid standardtantsudes tublil 25. kohal. Oma vanusegrupis noorte arvestuses 16-18a osalenud 33 paari seast jõudsid Andreas-Epp standardtantsude kuue parima hulka finaali ja viie tantsu kokkuvõttes saavutasid hinnatava 4. koha.
14.11.09. Leevi's Liis End & Kyle Taylor won the Canadian Grand Ball Under 21 Latin event in Richmond and placed 4th and 6th in Amateur Standard & Latin respectively.
25.10.09. Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce won the Singapore International Professional Ballroom Championships for the second year running at the Suntec City Convention Centre.
14.10.09. Leevi's Liis End & Kyle Taylor won the International Championships 2009 in the Under 21 Ballroom category in spectacular style. This result was made extra special for Danceclub Leevi as they are now the third couple from the club to win this prestigious title. They then went on to make the top 24 of the main Amateur event at the International.

02.10.09. Leevi's Warren & Kristi Boyce won the Canadian Open WDC Professional Ballroom Championship held near Montreal, Canada. The event ran alongside this year's WDC World 10 Dance Championship and next year will see the Professional World Ballroom Championships also take place in Montreal.
19.09.09. Leevi's Armand Fazullin & Marit Mets win World Championship Vice-Champion Medals at the IDSF World Championship Juniors II Standard . Armand & Marit did themselves proud and won the Slow Foxtrot but finished second overall at this JuniorDANCE Festival 2009 on 19.09.2009 at Jyväskylä.

29.05.09. The final day of the British Open Championships took place in the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool Wintergardens. Seven couples were announced to the Grand Final of the British Open Professional Ballroom Championship in the Waltz, six in the other dances. Warren & Kristi Boyce were the last couple to be called into the final to sustained applause and finished 6th in the Waltz but seventh overall to cap a terrific Blackpool week.
26.05.09. The British Open Under 21 Years Ballroom Championship saw Leevi's Kyle Taylor & Liis End win the bronze medal in a fantastic competition over six rounds. On reflection they were unluckly as they had tied second overall in a very tight top three and were one point away from the winners' in the overall skating tally. Leevi's Andres End & Veronika Korotnikova finished in 17th position as the top couple from Estonia and Andreas Rooson & Epp Maekivi also from Team Leevi competed in an event with 138 couples finishing in round two.
23.05.09. Kyle Taylor & Liis End finished 25th and as the top English couple in today's British Open Under 21 Years Latin Championship. (Liis was the top Estonian too - ;D ) In tonight's Team Match there was a special guest appearance of Glenn Richard Boyce as the smallest clown for Great Britain's cirque-themed entry for the event.
21.05.09. Warren & Kristi demonstrated in the Superstars in Cabaret event for the WDC World Competitors Commission with two showdances held in the Spanish Hall in Blackpool Wintergardens.
18.05.09. Warren & Kristi Boyce won their second pre-Blackpool Championship today, placing first in all dances at the Crystal Palace Cup Professional Ballroom Championships with over fifty couples competing over five rounds of competition.
17.05.09. Tower Ballroom, Birmingham, UK. Leevi's Glenn Richard Boyce & Natalia Tea de Larrinaga won two Juvenile events today at the 2 Richards competition. Full results here.
16.05.09. The Imperial Professional Ballroom Championships were competed over five rounds and the runner up spot was taken by Warren & Kristi Boyce who were second to winners Bizokas/Demidova. The Imperial Youth Under 21 Years Ballroom Championship was won by Leevi's Kyle Taylor & Liis End and Andres End & Veronika Korotnikova finished seventh.
02.05.09. Warren & Kristi Boyce became English Open Professional Ballroom Champions at the Lakeside Country Club in Frimley Green, Surrey. Leevi's new partnership of Kyle Taylor & Liis End competed in the English Open Amateur Championship narrowly missing the final in seventh place.

07.03.09. In the final event of the 2009 Asian Open Tour, Warren & Kristi Boyce took fifth position in the Professional Ballroom held in the Ballroom of The Ventian Hotel, Macau.

04.03.09. IDSF MK-etapp Sitsiilias: 2009.a. Eesti meistrid LA-tantsudes Manuel Frighetto ja Karin Rooba võistlesid laupäeval Sitsiilias Catanias Ladina-Ameerika tantsude MK-etapil (IDSF Open), kus saavutasid 2. koha. Võistlusel osales 68 tantsupaari, esikohale tuli kohalik paar Dario Scuderi-Maria Mangione. Värskes IDSF-i edetabelis asuvad Frighetto ja Rooba 20. kohal.
