Aivar Ots & Eve End

Join the fun! Eve End started to learn ballroom dancing under the maiden name of Ots in 1972 when she was 11 years of age. Her younger brother Aivar started four years later. Eve had already been the Estonian Champion twice when, just two weeks before the ´78 Estonian National Championship, she decided to compete with her brother. They were fortunate at the time to have coaching from some of the top teachers of that period, Tamara and Avo Lossmann. They came out and won the event, surprising everyone that they were even going to compete, and walked away with the Estonian Amateur title. Eve, 17 years old, and Aivar, at just 16, had no other competitors that were in the youth category, so they only demonstrated and competed in the Amateur Championships. Despite this they were still awarded the titles for their own age category too! Due to their success and domination at a very young age, they were seen to be the couple with a great deal of talent and a bright future. This meant they were selected from their region to compete in the ´79 Russian Championships, which included many of the states, which now have received their independence as countries. They made the semi-final, in which all the other competitors were at least ten years older. In the Baltic Regat and also Merevaigu Championships they were also the youngest couple and on both occassions made the final. At the famous ‘Old Toomas’ championship in Estonia, they won just six months before Eve gave birth to her first child. Dancing was already in her little girls heart, maybe one day she would find a little boy with the same..? Over the years Eve & Aivar won many competitions in Estonia, and with them the audience. A year after they stopped competing in 1984 they founded Dance Club Leevi, where they both today still teach.

Eve End

Eve is held with such high regard that she has served president of the Estonian DanceSport Association. She is the General Manager and Coach in Dance Club Leevi, and a mum for six beautiful children. She is the leading lady who looks after all the dancers in Estonia, and she holds the highest level of adjudicating licence [A- category] in the International DanceSport Federation [IDSF]. Without this wonderful lady, Estonia would not find itself in the strong position it is in today. Eve is also the most famous dress designer & dress maker in Estonia. There is just a selection of lucky girls whom Eve designs and makes dresses for. In recognition of this, Chrisanne has given her the honour of making their dresses with their latest fabrics in Estonia. Many of Leevi’s top girls have won domestic and Intenational Championships wearing her dresses. Eve combines the discipline of managing a highly successful organisation with the artistry of fashion & couture - discipline & artistry being key factors in producing beautiful dancing.

Aivar Ots

Is the coach of Dance Club Leevi and General Secretary of the Estonian DanceSport Association. Like Eve, he is also one of the few judges in Estonia who holds an A-category IDSF Adjudicators licence. Due to his success as a competitor, respect as a trainer and possessing this top accolade, Aivar travels to many countries to adjudicate top level competitions, accompany pupils or to give lectures and lessons.
